"Are you okay?" The silence was finally broken by Jenn askin Cheryl. The 4 of the girls sat in Cheryl's room. "Yeah, come on speak to us please?" Jodi asked looking at Cheryl. Cheryl was lying down on her bed, one arm folded under her face leaning on it and the other was hanging off the bed. "Im fine" Cheryl spoke. "You cant be, what happened?" Kassie asked confused. "Lets just say people are dicks" Cheryl spoke again. Kassie shook her head and turned to Jodi "What happened?" Jodi shrugged. "All i know is that Michael was an ass" She nodded.
"Hey come on, its fine" Jenn rubbed Cheryl's back softly. "Its not just that..." Cheryl blurted out. Shit, now she would have to tell them. "What?" Jenn asked. Cheryl sat up slightly and sighed. "Remeber the whole thing with pairing up with Luke in geography?" The girls nodded to her in reponse. "Well, on tuesday Luke spoke to me in the corridor and was fine, then he snapped at me in art, then he was nice again....he then told Mrs Murry that we would have an idea thought up and when i asked him he said dont worry ill sort it." Cheryl dropped her head a little.
Tears sprung to the back to Cheryls eyes. "And then he turned around and said that to Michael....he made me feel like shit!" She sighed a little. "Aw, honey! dont...your awesome!" Jenn leaned over and hugged her. "iM not being a sissy and crying over those asses!" Cheryl laughed a little. She wiped the corner of her eye and smiled at her friends. "Aw come here!" Kassie shouted and they all went in for a large hug. "Thanks guys" Cheryl smiled.
Kassie sat twirling her hair, for the past 10 minutes on her phone. "Who are you texting?" Jenn asked slurping noddles. "No one!" Kassie quickly spoke. "Calm down" Jenn laughed a little. Kassie sighed and looked at the girls. "I have a question...and i know it'll be a no because of what happend but its worth a try!" Kassie smiled. "What?" Jodi asked taking some soda. "Well....today i got asked by someone if we wanted to attend their party....?" Kassie grinned. "Really?! who?!" Jenn jumped nearly. As soon as Kassie went silent for a moment Jodi knew who exactly asked her.
"Who?" Cheryl asked. "Yeah, spit it out!" Jenn looked at her closer. Kassie sighed and looked at Cheryl. "It was....Mikey!" Cheryl rolled her eyes and scoffed. "What? Michael? Clifford? he invited us?" "Yes! and i said i would ask you guys, the guys will be there with some few people from school" Kassie egged on. "What drunking sluts of the school hanging over guys?" Cheryl scoffed eating her noddles. "No... oh please?" Kassie asked. The girls looked at each other and then silence fell. "Y'know what? doesnt matter, not after today." Kassie smiled.
Jodi looked at her friends and sighed. "Guys....Ashton asked me the same question the other day...i didnt ask because i thought it would be an automatic no" "It is" Cheryl told her. "Oh come on! even he asked Jodi!" Kassie begged. "NO!" Cheryl snapped. "Im not going to that nut jobs house to watch girls in short ass skirts with guys grinding agaisnt the girls....." Cheryl shook her head. "I dont want to even be in the same room as them!" Cheryl told them "Yeah, leave it guys...we can have a movie night" Jenn agreed with Cheryl.
Kassoe sat with her face dropping to the floor for the next 30 minutes. It was going onto 5 at night. Cheryl looked at her friends and they sat watching a shitty show on tv. She wasnt a bitch. She knew how much Kassie wanted to go and she could tell Jodi liked Ashton. She sighed and looked at the clock. She didnt want to see them and she didnt like the party scene, but she wanted to make her friends happy. It was friday night and as much as she didnt want to she wanteed to give it a chance. She didnt want to see Luke but she also wanted to know what his problem was! Cheryl sighed again. "Guys....?" She asked. "Hmm?" Kassie murmered. "What...uh, time does this thing start at?" She asked. Kassie shot up and grinned at Cheryl. "Are you serious?" Cheryl nodded. "On one condition...if i hate it, we come home ...." Cheryl laughed. "Deal!" Kassie hugged her and jumped up. She ran out the living room and Jenn and Jodi grinned at her.
