Kassie and Cheryl sat on Kassie's floor. "So whats up? you seem....not yourself.." Kassie made a face. Cheryl sighed and smiled. "Would you like to hear my problems?" She asked. "Im all ears" Kassie pointed and nodded. They both laughed and Cheryl began to spill everything.
"Hold on! you kissed a guy?" Kassie asked. "No! i havent got a clue what he means" Cheryl shook her head shrugging. "Maybe he mistook you for someone else..." Cheryl nodded. "Thats what im thinking...but why would he seem so sure?" She asked. "Dont know..." Kassie shurgged. .Cheryl kept telling and telling Kassie till she nearly spilled the big secret. She shut up and looked at Kassie. "What was that?" "Nothing..." Cheryl shook her head. "Chez? what about LA?!" She glared at her. Sighing Cheryl shook her head. "Im sorry i didnt tell you guys..." "Oh, no...what?!" Kassie asked.
"Luke and I....kissed in LA....." Kassie's eyes widened. "What?! oh i so knew you liked each other!" "No!!" Cheryl backed up. "What do you mean?" She asked offended. Cheryl sighed deeply. He pulled away...and walked away. In school a few days later, he said it was his mistake and it wouldnt happen again....he kept apologising..." Cheryl shrugged. Kassie sat trying to gather up everything Cheryl had just said. "Okay...im confused...he acts like he likes you....kisses you...disses you...apologises....acts like he likes you again and then says you kissed a guy?!" Kassie spoke confused.
Cheryl shrugged again. "I just...." Cheryl spoke before her words got caught up in her throat. She cleared her throat and sighed. "I just feel like....everything is turning into a huge mess and i dont know why" Cheryl closed her eyes, she covered her face and tears ran down her cheeks. "Aww. come here!" Kassie hugged her. "Nothing is your fault...Luke is just sending mixed signals." She made a face. "Kassie...?" Cheryl spoke. "hmm?" "I....really like him...and for some reason, i feel like its all a big joke." Cheryl shook her head.
"Chez? you may not want too...but im going to suggest you just talk to him face to face, about this whole party thing...and the kiss....you cant keep buring deeper and deeper into your feelings if hes not gonna help you out at the other end." Cheryl nodded and sniffed wiping her eyes. "Okay...and if hes an ass...he'll have me and the girls to deal with!" She smirked and made Cherl laugh. "Thanks...you girls are my best friends" She hugged Kassie. "Same with all of us...we all think the same...we wouldnt be anywhere without each other" She nodded.
They sat up and Kasie wiped a tear away from Cheryl's cheek. "Talk to him...make him see sense through your eyes" She nodded. "Thank you...but i think i'll wait till we go back to school....its easier..." Cheryl nodded. "Whatever makes you comfortable...just confront him" She told Cheryl and she nodded agreeing.
It was true, Cheryl was getting tired to Luke's mind games! one minute he was pissing her around, then he was her friend, then he kissed her, he said it was his fault, he went silent, they were friends again and now hes not talking to her because he thinks she kissed some guy. Eveything was making Cheryl stress out more! she'd had enough. She was giving herself and Luke time to adjust through out the week then when they would go back to school she would tell him. She needed to know.
