Zach
"Oh god I can't believe this is happening" I groaned. "I can't believe this is happening right now" I repeated, groaning. Daniel scoffed, lightly shoving me. "Can you shut up about it already and help me find us a seat" he complained, working his way through the mass of people in the stands.
He took me by the hand so we wouldn't get separated and pulled me through the crowds of people up to the top where there were luckily two seats. At least we were all the way in the back where I could die of shame unnoticed.
"How did you even get me here" I whined, folding my arms over as I sulkily sunk into my seat. Daniel rolled his eyes, already getting annoyed with my attitude. "A deal's a deal. I said if he showed up to Spanish you had to come to the basket ball game with me" Daniel reminded me.
I stuck my bottom lip out at him, giving him sad puppy dog eyes. "But Daniel, he barely even stepped foot inside the place" I pouted, hoping he would feel bad and let us leave.
He raised a stubborn eyebrow. "Better get comfortable sweetie cause we ain't going nowhere" he sassed, folding his arms over stubbornly. I huffed, looking forward with an unhappy face on.
The game had started a while ago and being the bad at sports dork I was I had no idea what was going on. All I knew was Jack was out there playing on the field and he looked hot.
Just because he hates me doesn't mean I have to fully hate him. You can both be completely terrified of someone and still find them mildly appealing. God, he hates me so much. If he sees me here who knows what he'll do.
"If I get beat up today it's 100% your fault" I yelled to Daniel over the cheering of the crowd. Daniel shook his head, smiling. "Shut up idiot, there's no way he'll see you when you're all the way up here. You probably look like an ant to him" Daniel reassured me.
I shrugged. "Yeah, you're right. And he's so focused on the game he hasn't looked at the crowd once" I added. Daniel suddenly paused, looking over at me. I raised my eyebrows nervously as a smirk slowly began to form on his face.
"Wanna make a bet?" He asked with a playful tone. I raised my eyebrows, indicating for him to continue. "Well, obviously I didn't just bring you to this game to torment you-" he began, but he didn't get to say much before I cut him off.
"Oh really?" I sassed, letting out a sarcastic snort. He gave me a glance that told me to let him continue. He cleared his throat before continuing what he was saying. "Well, I actually came here for uhh.... for Corbyn" me mumbled, his cheeks suddenly starting to tint a light pink.
I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "So you've actually started considering him as a future husband?" I joked, poking his side. He swatted my hand away, an embarrassed look on his face.
"Just let me finishhh" he whined. He took a deep breath. "Ok, so the bet is, if Jack notices you, you have to carry out a deed for me" he finally proposed.
I creased my eyebrows together in confusion. "A deed? Yeah, there's no way I'm talking you up on that bet" I scoffed. He groaned. "Come on Zach, it's nothing bad, I promise. Besides, you said it yourself that there's no way jack would even see you here! He hasn't taken his eyes off the ball the whole game!" Daniel argued.
I thought for a moment, debating it. Daniel was right - the chances of Jack actually seeing me here were small. Heck it, what's there to lose? It's not like it's ever going to happen anyway, and it'll shut Daniel up.
