"Jack!" Corbyn exclaimed happily as he caught sight of me. I sat down at the lunch table in between him and Jonah, giving them both a friendly pat on the back. "Guys!" I greeted cheerily.

From the other side of the table, Josh's eyebrows raised in confusion. "Is Jack... smiling?" He asked in a teasing voice. Eben, who was sitting next to Josh, slowly nodded his head as he smirked. "Can I tell them?" He asked, directing the question at me.

"Tell then wha-" before I could finish asking, Eben slammed a hand down on the table. "Jack got laid last night" he blurted out. Within a single second everyone's eyes were on me as gasps sounded out.

"No way!" Jonah exclaimed, his jaw dropped as he looked at me with an amused expression. "Aye you bitchass, is that why you didn't wanna come hang out with the bros last night?!" Josh yelled at me, folding his arms over and pretending to be upset.

"Guys, guys!!" I yelled. Everyone fell into silence. For a second I thought about telling them the truth - not the actual truth of course - but I considered telling them that I didn't actually have sex last night.

But then a realisation hit me. I didn't want them to ask any more questions and I knew they'd never stop pressing me about it, and if I just told them I did have sex I'd have an excuse to not answer their questions. So I took a deep breath, deciding not to tell them.

"All I'm saying is, I'm not telling any of y'all what happened last night" I informed them all. They all smirked at me, shoving me lightly. "Ayeeeeeee" "you dawg" "dirty ass dude!" They were all yelling at me. I smiled, pushing all their hands away.

Josh suddenly looked at Corbyn, his eyes wide. "Oh shit, Corbyn didn't even get to tell you his big ass news!" Josh exclaimed, pointing at Corbyn excitedly.

Corbyn was shaking his head vigorously as if telling Josh to stop talking, but Josh either didn't notice or just didn't care. "Go on, tell him!" Josh urged.

Corbyn sighed, turning to look at me. "Well, if you were at the sleep over you would've found out along with the rest of the guys-" Corbyn began.

"Sleepover?! That's some gay ass shit" Josh cut in. Corbyn shot him what was supposed to be an angry look but came off as a cute pout, and just to entertain it, Josh held his hands up in defence.

Josh wasn't always a complete asshole - well actually, that's a lie, but he knows he gives Corbyn a hard time so it's kinda his thing to sometimes let Corbyn think he looks intimidating when he actually looks like a fluffy bunny rabbit. Corbyn was way too nice and sweet to ever look mean.

"As I was saying" Corbyn continued, clearing his throat. "I uhh.... I received a... well, a love letter I guess?" He admitted as if it was a question. My eyes widened and I gave him a strong pat on the back.

"Damn, good going bro" I cheered, watching a small blush cross over Corbyn's cheeks. "So who's it from?" I asked curiously. "Well, I don't know... it was kinda anonymous" Corbyn mumbled.

I creased my eyebrows together. "Any clues?" I asked further. He shrugged. "Remember the game yesterday? Well uhh... when I got back into the locker rooms and changed I kinda just found it in the pocket of my basketball jacket" Corbyn explained.

"I didn't even notice it was there until we were in the car on our way following Jonah-" Corbyn began, but cut himself off realising what he was saying when Jonah was sat at the table.

"Hmm?" Jonah hummed, zoning back in to the conversation as he heard his name being said. "Oh uhh, w-what? Oh uhh nothing" Josh quickly covered up for Corbyn's slip up. Jonah shrugged, looking back off into the distance.

"Close one" Corbyn whispered, looking over to Josh. Josh gave Corbyn a small smile, waving it off. "Ah don't sweat it, it's no big deal" Josh dismissed, being actually sorta nice to Corbyn for once.

The whole time I had stayed silent, busy thinking over all that Corbyn had said. Who could've left him the letter? Who would've had access to the locker room?

And suddenly, I dawned on me...

The image of Zach in the locker room, tightly clutching a piece of paper held behind his back entered my mind. Fuck.

I felt a weird feeling take over my body. It was like anger, but... less heated. It felt darker. "Hey, Corbyn, mind if I read that letter?" I spit out in a bitter voice. I tried to fight off the stony and cold facial expression that was crossing my face.

"Bro you really should read it, it was some horny ass shit" Josh spoke out, following it up with a laugh. I nearly felt like snatching the letter out of Corbyn's hands before he could even unfold it.

As soon as he handed it to me my eyes moved over the words. I felt my jaw clench tightly the more I read, and I was gripping the paper so tightly I hadn't even noticed I'd began creasing the sides.

I practically threw the letter back to Corbyn, my jaw feeling like it would fall off from how hard it was clenched. My blood was boiling with a suppressed feeling of anger, and all I could do was sit there and think...

I hate Zach Herron. I hate him.
