Chapter 8

~The next day~

I woke up early in the morning and decided to study. Its the best time to study. I was preparing for the entrance Examination of that prestigious Australian University of Computer Science. My eomma doesn't know about this because she will think that she needs to work hard so that she can afford the fees. I have decided that I am gonna apply as a scholarship student.

My eomma was cooking breakfast downstairs. I already told her that I am going to Taehyung's house for the project because of which her mood is really good today.

Few minutes later she came in to tell me the breakfast is ready.

"Hyerin, breakfast is ready." She informed me.

"Ok" I replied. "Hyerin, You are supposed to go to Tae's house for assignment right?" She asked me and I nodded as a reply.

"Then why the heck aren't you ready? " She asked me.

"I will leave by 11:00 a.m." I replied. "No. I have made some hot rice cakes for him. They will not taste good if they get cold. You need to leave after having your breakfast." She said.

"But-----" I was about to say when she cut me off saying "No buts.......You are going to leave early." She commanded. I guess I need to leave early. *sigh*

~skip time~

~At Taehyung's house~

The guard of his house let me in because Taehyung had already informed him Yesterday taht i was gonna arrive.

I pressed the doorbell of his house but there was no response. I pressed again and again but still there was no response. I asked the guard and he said that Taehyung gets up at 1:00 p.m. at weekends.

I thought to wait near the doorstep and I was mentally scolding my eomma for it. Few minutes later I found that Aunt Lia, Taehyung's eomma's sister, had arrived.

" Good Morning Hyerin. You here?" She asked me.

"Good Morning Aunt Lia. Taehyung and I need to complete a project." I replied.

"I am sorry from his behalf. He must be sleeping still. Did you wait here long?" She asked me.

"No. I arrived few minutes back." I replied.

"Cool. Then lets get in." She said. She typed in the password and the door quickly opened.

"Hyerin, I need to leave immediately because I have some work at my office. You go and wake Taehyung up. I just came here to give him his lunch box." She said.

"Lunch box? Isn't his maid here?" I asked her. "All maids have left the job because of him. Therefore, I bring food for him daily." She replied. I know his family shifted to Seoul except for him. I thought he has maid at his house but then if she would have been there she would have opened the door. Now everything makes sense.

"I may take a leave then. Bye Hyerin."She said and immediately left the house. I went upstairs to his room. I just hope there are no naked girls in there. I crossed my fingers and prayed.

I opened the door and there were no naked girls luckily. It was just Taehyung sleeping.

"Wake up Taehyung. Wake up!!" I yelled loud enough but instead he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards his bed. WTF? 

I pulled his hair when he slightly opened his eyes and due to shock he kicked me out of the bed. I landed on the floor and my butt got hurt.

I regained myself immediately and then kicked him out of the bed in return. He quickly got up and stomped on his way towards me.

"Why did you do that?" He spat at me.

"Because you also kicked me for no reason." I replied back.  "I was shocked as to why you were so close to me." He said. 

"I was waking you up but instead you pulled me towards you." I reasoned.

"First of all how did u get in here?" He asked me.

"Aunt Lia let me in." I replied. He sighed in relief. I am not a robber who will sneak in his house.

"Get ready fast. We need to start our project." I informed him. He made his way towards the bathroom.

"My mom has send some rice cakes for you." I said when he was about to get into the bathroom.

"Really? Tell her thanks for the cakes." He said. There was a sudden change in his mood. He always loved my mother's rice cakes. Even I like it.

I made my way back to the living room. I just sat on the couch and marked some points in my textbook using a highlighter so that our work gets easier and faster. Soon, Taehyung arrived downstairs.

"Where are the rice cakes?" He asked me. "Its on the kitchen counter." I replied.

"Who is gonna eat Aunt Lia's Lunch then?" I asked him.

"I will eat it later." He replied. He opened the box of rice cakes and its aroma spread in the entire living room and kitchen. I also want some. I went inside the dining area. He already stated stuffing rice cakes in his mouth.

"I also want some." I said and was about to take one when he slapped my hand away.

"Aunt has send it for me, not you." He said. "I am only taking two." I said. 

"NO." He commanded. "Ok then give me at least one." I said.

"No." He replied. "Half?" This time I pleaded. he sighed and then nodded.

I immediately grabbed one and was about to put the whole in my mouth when he immediately leaned in and cut it into half using his mouth. Our lips were less than an inch apart. I was shooked. He ate it and then looked at me. The remaining rice cake was still in my mouth.

"Eat now." He said and I gulped down the remaining part. I did not even utter a word and left his house immediately. He was yelling from behind for me to stop but I ignored him.
