Chapter 26

Its been a week now since me and Taehyung were back. Everything was back to normal. The only thing that changed was Hana wasn't hanging out with us anymore. We made such decision because of Tae. It would affect him. 

Mrs Kim had visited once. We went to Seoul to check upon eomma. She was progressing a lot.It was a relief to me. This weekend we wouldn't go to Seoul so I was studying in my room. I heard a knock. It must be Tae.

"What happened?" I asked him.I had half opened the door because if it is not something important I will shoo him off.

 "I am in a grave problem. I need your help." He said. I opened the door and let him in. He sat on the couch of my room. I went and sat beside him.

"What help do you need?" I asked. "Ineedyoutobemygirlfriendforaday." He said in a single breath. "I could not get you. Speak slowly." I said.

"I want to go for a party and I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend." He said. "What? Have you gone crazy? I am not gonna do that." I replied.

"Please. They are business friends. I received the invitation a month ago. I told them I was dating someone that is Hana at that time. They wanted me to bring her with me to the party."He reasoned.

"Tell them you broke up." I said. "I can't because I told them I was in a serious relationship this time and I won't break up so early." He said.I sighed thinking I have no chance to say no.

"Fine. I will come." I said. "Thanks a lot Hyerin. "He said and hugged me. 

"Be ready by 7:00." He said and broke the hug. "What? There is only two hours left." I yelled at him before he left my room. He ignored my yell. Asshole.

I quickly took a shower,washed my greased hair and dried it with a dryer. I called Lana to do my makeup and hairstyle. She will do it quickly. She came within 15 minutes. I had worn my dress by that time. She 'decorated' me within half an hour.It was 6:45p.m. so I went to Taehyung's room to check if he is ready.

I knocked on his door and went in. He was standing near his dressing table.He was settling his hair. I went and sat on the couch. He grabbed the tie which was kept on his bed. He was doing it slowly but everytime he used to pull up, it used to go sideways. It was humorous watching him getting frustrated.

I was trying to control my laugh but I burst out. "Its not funny. Help me." He said.

I got up from the couch and made my way towards him. I faced him and then slowly tie the neck. I pulled up the tie and I looked up at him.

He was staring at me. My gaze locked with him. We stood there staring at each other. I was completely lost in his oceanic eyes. Flashbacks of our moments flowed through my mind. He leaned a bit forward. I was froze on that spot. I did not try to move back. I just don't know why.

Just then his phone rang breaking us from our stares. I quickly let go his tie and he picked up his phone which was kept on his bed. I went towards the couch and grabbed my clutch. It was a very awkward moment. Blood had rushed to my cheeks but it looked like it was a part of my makeover.

"Yes. We are leaving now." He said to the person on the phone. He ended the call immediately. "Should we leave?" He asked and I just nodded as a reply due to embarrassment.
