Chapter 32

It was a weekend and I had messaged Tae that I was gonna visit today. I made my way to his house while thinking about how to tell him about me leaving. I pressed the doorbell of his house. He opened the door. He was smiling wide. My heart sank thinking I am going to tell him some bad news.

"I was waiting for you. I have found one amazing movie. Lets watch it together." He said and we both went towards the couch.

"First, I want to talk to you about something. Its important." I said. He looked at me and frowned thinking what was something important.

"I am going to Australia." I said. "For holidays after the exams? We can go together." He said. I sighed thinking he misunderstand. 

"No! I am going to Australia for further studies." I said. He was shocked hearing that. His face even turned pale.

"I am selected at the Australian University of Computer Science. Its the best in world. Its my dream university." I explained him. "For how many years?" He asked me. 

"Four to six years. Four years of bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences and two years of business management. I am not sure about business management still yet." I replied.

"You can do these courses at Seoul University as well. It is also good." He said. "Seoul National University is good but the university in which I am enrolling is the best in the world. Its my dream." I said and emphasized on word 'dream' so that he considers.

"Hyerin, you know if it is for me, I can join that University but I cannot because I have some other goals. I want to become an idol and I also want to run my father's company. You knew it from the very start still you decided to go to that university." Tae said. He looked angry by now.

"I know Taehyung but everyone has some different dreams, some different goals. I cannot let away my goal for someone. I need to go." I said.

"Am I 'someone', Hyerin?...... You are my lover. You know I cannot live without you. You know how much I love you, how much I care about you still you made such decision." He almost yelled this time. Anger was evident in his eyes. "But....." I said when he cut me off.

"Get Out! Ido not want to hear any other reason from you for the time being." He yelled at me. I flinched at his outburst.Tears flowed down his cheeks this time.

"Listen to me first Tae.." I said when he cut me off again. "There is nothing left to hear. You made your decision yourself so do I...... So,  get out!" He said. Without arguing anymore, I left his house immediately crying.

I entered home crying which made my parents worried. I did not utter a word and made my way upstairs to my room. I cried for hours. When I was stable enough, I told eomma about everything. She said to wait and give him some time to adjust to this news.

I agreed to her but it did not stop me from texting him. I texted him about 'how he was doing?', I even apologized multiple times but there was no reply. I even tried to call him but it was either not answered or rejected. I even visited his house. The guard used to shoo me off saying that he was not there at home when I could see the lights turned on of his room. After that I did not try to pursue him because I have pursued him and even apologized to him a multiple times. I also have some self respect.

A week passed by and there was no response from Taehyung's side. Everyday seemed like a living hell to me. Appa and eomma tried their best to cheer me up but it did not help me much.

I was studying for the upcoming final examinations when Appa entered the room.He must be here to console me.

"We are having dinner with Kim family today." Appa said. "You mean Tae's family?" I asked him and he nodded.

"Can't I just skip? I have to study." I said because I did not want to face Tae. "No. It would be rude." Appa said. "Fine." I replied with a sigh. Appa has some good relations with them. Cannot stake it.
