Chapter 19

~PREVIOUS CHAPTER~

"At library, for so long? I do not think so Hyerin. Are you secretly dating someone? Do you have a secret boyfriend?" She said. My face turned pale at her accusation.

"Is that so Hyerin?" Taehyung asked me. I did not reply to it because it is obvious that I am not dating anyone. 

"Taehyung, she isn't replying that means she is in a relationship." Hana said. I widen my eyes in shock. WTF? How can she jump to such conclusion.  

"That's right. She is not denying the fact as well." Taehyung said. He looked a bit hurt, I just do not know why. 

"Who is that guy Hyerin?" Hana asked excitedly. "No one." I replied. "Come on. Tell me."Hana pestered me. I just ignored her and went inside the kitchen to have some water.

"Taehyung, I think she does not want to reveal it now. Let it be her choice." Hana said to him. 

"Yes, I will reveal it later." I replied. I will reveal later that I am not dating someone. Dating someone could be a good excuse for me to leave them alone for a while. "Yeah, Take your own time Hyerin." Hana said.

Hana soon left the house. I went upstairs to take a nap for a while. When I woke up, a messaged appeared stating that The form for the entrance examinations of that Elite Australian University of Computer Sciences is out. I decided to fill up the form right away so that I could have a choice for selecting the suitable time slot for the examination.

I had filled up half of the form when Taehyung entered my room without knocking. I do not mind though. I was filling up the form using my mobile itself.

"It is time for you to cook dinner. I am hungry." He said in a cold tone. "I will do it later. Wait for 15 minutes." I said because I was busy filling up the form. He usually waits if I have some work so it was not a big deal.

"I cannot wait for more 15 minutes. Go and cook it now." He said and I looked up. What has happened to him? "I am busy doing some important work ." I said.

"I could see what important work you are doing nowadays. Dating someone right? By the way, whom are you chatting with? Your boyfriend?" He said. It hurt me a bit because his tone was too harsh. I did not reply because I do not want to reveal that I am applying for that university.

"I thought so. You aren't replying meaning that you are actually texting him. I never thought he is more important to you than me, your best friend." He said with anger hinted in his voice. I got up from my bed and went towards him to comfort. 

"It isn't like that Taehyung. You are more important. I am not lying to you. I am really doing some important work." I said to assure him. "You are lying again. Who thought you to be such a good liar?" He accused me of lying. I was still patient. I did not want to create a scene.

"Taehyung, I lie for a good reason only." I said. I could see anger rising through him. He snatched my phone and threw it on the wall in anger. I got shooked at his action.

"Have you gone crazy Taehyung? Why did you do it?" I yelled at him. "You lied to me and this is your punishment." He said. 

"Who are you to give me a punishment? My eomma? ........Yes, I have lied to you about dating someone. So? I do not want to tell you about it. It is my choice. You have your love then why cannot I ?" I said. He did not utter a single word and left my bedroom.
