Dear Enemy:- An AU Fanfiction

Chapter 13

"Aunt Lia will be staying with you both for 10 days. She will help you a bit in house chores until you both get familiar with it." She said and we just nodded as a reply.

~After dinner~

"Be ready before 6:00a.m. .We will be going to Seoul tomorrow. Hyerin needs to meet her eomma and Taehyung also need to meet rest of his family." Mrs Kim informed us. We then dispersed to our respective bedrooms.

~The next day~

"Wake up sleepy head." Someone was yelling while I was sleeping. WHO IS THIS ASSHOLE DISTURBING MY BEAUTY SLEEP? I opened my eyes a bit and was shocked to see Taehyung close to my face. 

I shot up immediately which led to our heads being crashed.

"Ouch! Why did you do that?"Taehyung said. "Why were you so close to my face then?" I replied with a question.

"We need to leave for Seoul. Look at the time now." He said. I looked at the clock to find its 5:30p.m. FUCK. I quickly ran towards my bathroom. Yesterday, I must have forgotten to set the alarm.

I went downstairs. Mrs Kim and Taehyung were having their  breakfast.

"I am sorry I am late. I overslept." I said and I heard Taehyung scoffed. Mrs Kim glared at him

"No worries. Have your breakfast and then we will leave immediately."She said. After we had breakfast, we immediately left.

It takes approx 3hrs to reach Seoul. We reached there by 9:30a.m. . Mrs Kim accompanied me while Taehyung left to met his family. 

Mrs Kim escorted me to eomma's room. The scene was horrible. All kinds of pipes were attched to her. Eomma was awake.

"Hi Hyerin." She said trying to hold her tears back. I tried my best not to cry. It will affect her if I cry.

"Hi. How are you feeling now?" I asked her. Its a stupid question. Of course, she does not feel good but other questions does not seem to be asked now.

"It hurts but better than before." She said. Mrs Kim left us few minutes later. Me and eomma talked a lot then. I told her that I am leaving at Taehyung's house and was discussing about everything else except for her health so that she feels better emotionally at least.

I met her doctor in charge. He assured me that she will get the best treatment. He was really kind. He said the cancer was diagnosed a bit late because it seems it is genetically transferred to her. The cancer was not near her breast but her shin area. It got accumulated there. He said she was out of danger but will take a lot of time to recover.

Taehyung had called me to go down near the entrance of the hospital because we need to leave for Daegu. I went back to eomma's room to bid her bye and my way downstairs.

Taehyung was waiting for me down along with their driver. It seems Mrs Kim would not accompany with us back to Daegu.

~Two days later~

It was Monday. I got up early and got ready for school. I went downstairs and Aunt Lia had already made breakfast.

"Good Morning Hyerin." She greeted me. "Good Morning." I replied.

"When did you come?"I asked. "An hour before. I am sorry I could not come yesterday."She replied.

"Thanks for the breakfast." I said while eyeing the delicious meal in front of me. They look amazing. "Welcome. I hope you like it."She said. Taehyung arrived at the same time.

"Morning."He greeted Aunt Lia. "Morning." She replied him back. He did not greet me.  Of course. Why will he wish a 'Good Morning' for me.After we had our breakfast, she asked us to wash our dishes and place them back in the rack. It was a part of our training.

We left for school together. It was a 5 minutes walk from his home so his driver did not accompany us. I stayed ahead of him not wanting to walk with him.

"You go ahead. I will arrive later. I do not want people talking about us arriving together." He said and I just nodded agreeing with his statement.
