EPILOGUE

I was looking at the mirror taking a last glance at myself. My phone rang distracting me. The call was from Tae. I picked it up.

"What happened Tae?" I asked him without even greeting him.
"What? Not even a hi" He said.

I don't know I feel annoyed nowadays whenever he calls.Recently, we were having some petty fights about how we cannot give time for each other. Its obvious in a long distance relationship.

"Tae, I have some work now. I need to go so pls tell me why did you call?" I replied.

"I just called you because it's been a week since we did not talk to each other whole heartedly. The others were really short conversations." He complained. The same moment someone knocked on my door. I opened it to find it was Joseph.One of my batchmate.

"Hey, Everyone is waiting for you. Hurry up!" He said. I did not realise that my phone was still in my hand and Tae was on the other line.

"I will come within few minutes." I replied and shut the door. I realised that Tae was still on other line.
I quickly put the phone to my ear.

"Who was that?" He asked. His voice seemed too cold.
"One of my batchmate." I replied.

"Why was he at your room?" Taehyung asked. His voice was too demanding and harsh that I could not stand to ignore his questions.
"He was here to inform me that my other friends were waiting for me.We were having a celebration because we had made the best project recently. " I replied.

"Okay. Can u just skip it once? Cos it does not look so important to me?" He asked her.
"No Tae I can't" I replied.

"Why? You have time for your 'new friends' and not for me. You really have changed a lot after going there." He replied. He was starting to create a fight.

"Tae there is some thing known as peer marks that exist.If I do not be good with them they can give me poor grades." I replied.

"I do not think so that will affect your grade sheet so much." He replied back trying to defend himself.

"Tae you know how much important it is for me to score good marks. You should understand." I said.
"That's what your problem is. You love your so called 'grades' more than anyone. Are we not important to you?" He  said. Anger was slowly rushing through me. It was being too annoying to me.

"Why are you picking up a fight?" I asked him witha tone full of irritation.
"I am not. It's you who is ignoring me." He argued back.
"Taehyung, I am not ignoring you. I am just a bit busy here." I replied calmly this time.
"Do you think I am sitting idoly here?" He asked. His tone was full of anguish.
"I did not say anything like that." I replied back.
"You meant that. Just admit it." He said.

The conversation was going in the same way like a week before. We end up in a fight. I thought about this for a week and came to a conclusion. It may hurt a bit but it is better for both of us.

"Taehyung, can we just stop this? The conversation is just going the same way as we had the previous week. We are getting onto no conclusion here." I said calmly hoping that he should also calm down.

"What conclusion do you want then?" He asked. His tone was still not calm.
"I think we should take a break..."I said when he cut me off.
"So, you want to break up?" He asked.
"I did not mean that way Tae." I replied.
"Dont lie to me..... You know why did I oppose you to go to Australia at first place and why did it took me a week to come back to you?.... It's because I feared that this day will surely come but I thought you as an exception. As I always supported your decision, I will support this one as well. I am well prepared to face the further consequences. I think its end here. Bye, take care." He ended his long speech. Tears had already stained my cheeks by now.

I did not want to break up. I just wanted to take a break. A break for an year. I was having tough time here. It would be my last year. Then I can shift back to Korea. The last year is a very crucial year for me. I just cannot give him as much time as he wants.

"Tae.." I was about to clear the misunderstanding when he hung up the phone.
Does it end like this? Just like that.
