I Think I Might Be

Chapter 2

***Ava and Bri are in Ava's bedroom. Ava is searching through her closet to find something to wear on her next date with Maya***

"Oh my gosh, none of this is gonna work," Ava said disappointedly.

"What are you talking about?" Bri said.

"I have nothing to wear" Ava replied.

"Your closet is full of clothes though" Bri replied.

"Yeah, but none of it seems right."

Bri rolls her eyes. "You'll be fine."

"Maybe I should go buy something new" Ava said thinking out loud.

"You're overthinking it. From what it sounds like this isn't even an official date. Hell, I don't even think she knows you like her."

"Yes, but that could all change tonight" Ava responded.

"Oh no, what are you planning to do?" Bri asked.

"Nothing..maybe...I don't know yet. It just depends on how things play out."

"Girl, listen. Don't do anything crazy" Bri stated.

"What do you mean?" Ava asked.

"You know what I mean" Bri replied.

"Just slow down and find out if she really likes you first. Why rush it?" Bri asked.

Because I like her duh! - Ava thought to herself.

"Ok, yeah, you're right. Nothing will happen. It's not a date. I'm just going to hang out with a friend that I like" Ava said  then laughed.

"Just don't do anything crazy. I don't want you to get hurt. Women can be messy" Bri said.

Ava halfway ignored her as she kept looking at clothes in her closet.

"Did you hear me?" Bri asked.

"Yeah... What about this dress?" Ava asked as she took a dress from her closet and held it up to herself.

Bri sighed. "Yes, that will work. Just like everything else in your closet will work."

"You're not helping!" Ava yelled in frustration.

"Yeah, I am. Look" Bri got up from the bed and walked over to the closet. "Just wear this" Bri said pulling out some skinny jeans and a crop top.

"She's seen me in that before!" Ava said.

"Exactly. You're just casually hanging out. No need to do anything fancy." Bri said

"Are you sure?" Ava asked

"Yes!" Bri replied.

"Ok. Well, what shoes should I wear with it? Here, let me just put everything on then try on the different shoe options" Ava said.

Bri laughs "Ok."

Ava started taking off her clothes and Bri tried not to stare. It had been a while since Ava undressed in front of her.

Did her boobs get bigger? Bri thought to herself
Her waist...thighs... butt
Whewww!

"Girl you look good!" Bri yelled out.

The two had a very playful relationship. They always complimented each other's bodies and didn't mind touching each other.

Ava laughed and became a little shy "Stop that!"

Ava put her crop top on first then turned around to her closet to find the jeans. Bri's eyes grew wide. Ava's butt was perfect. She was wearing a lace thong and it fit her just right. Ava eventually turned around with the jeans on and Bri's eyes quickly moved up to Ava's face before Ava noticed what she was looking at.

"Ok, this is the outfit" Ava said as she turned around. "Now which shoes?"

Bri pointed to a pair in the closet and Ava put them on.

"Good choice! I like it" Ava said while looking at herself in the mirror.

"Ok, good. Can we go now?" Bri said standing up.

"No, I still have to figure out what to do with my hair!" Ava said.

"HAIR?!!" Bri moaned. "We're going to be here all day" Bri said flopping back on the bed.

"Oh stop complaining! You should be glad to help" Ava said laughing

"You've got 10 minutes to decide" Bri said.

"Fine, fine. I'll be quick. Let me just take these clothes off first and put my other outfit back on."

Ava faced away from Bri and started to pull down her pants.

Bri whistled and Ava started to pull them down slower pretending to put on a show for Bri.

Once Ava had them all the way off, Bri went up to her and slapped her butt. Ava was still facing away from Bri so she didn't see it coming and she was shocked.

"Stop playing around!" Ava said as she turned around quickly laughing.

"You provoked me!" Bri said.

"But you started it first with the whistle!" Ava snapped back in a joking way. "You're wasting my time. You said 10 minutes remember. Besides you couldn't handle this anyway!" Ava said laughing.

"Oh, but I know I could" Bri said standing close to Ava and slapping her butt again.

"You are too much!" Ava said laughing as she continued to get dressed.

The next night around 7pm Ava started getting ready to hang out with Maya. They were supposed to meet at the movies and then go back to Maya's apartment. Ava decided to do what Bri said. She didn't go with the crop top and jeans, but she went with something that was already in her closet: jeans, a long sweater, boots, and a long necklace. It was a chillier fall day in New York so she thought the outfit was appropriate.

The two met at the theatre at 8 pm. Maya was looking beautiful as always. She was wearing a long dress and boots.

"You look nice" Ava said while going in for a hug.

"Aw, thanks! So do you" Maya replied.

They walked into the building and figured out what they wanted to see while standing in line. Luckily, they decided on one that they both wanted to see. Same taste in movies.. That's always a plus Ava thought to herself. Ava insisted on paying for everything even though Maya was willing to pay.

The movie was pretty good, and so far the night was going great. After the movie, they went to Maya's apartment and decided to watch something on Netflix. About halfway through the show, Maya started to get really comfortable. She grabbed a blanket and laid down on Ava's lap.

Ava was in heaven. This was the best night ever. Ava felt like Maya was making a move, so she decided to make one too.

"Aw, your necklace is so cute" Ava said.

"Oh thanks. My mom got it for me" Maya replied as she sat up.

"They match your eyes which are also very nice if I may say so!" Ava said as Maya giggled and looked down. Ava knew it was now or never. Her heart started beating fast, but as soon as Maya looked up again, she kissed her. Maya kissed back and it was a short but sweet kiss.

Ava pulled away and smiled as she opened her eyes, but she noticed Maya had a look of shock on her face.

"What?... What's wrong?" Ava asked.

"I... I wasn't expecting that. I ummm.. I have a boyfriend" Maya said.

"A what??" Ava asked in shock.

"Well, a fiancé really" Maya said.

You've got to be kidding me Ava thought to herself.

"But you... you...wow....ok" Ava said as she struggled to find the right words to say.

"I'm so sorry... I wasn't trying to"---- Maya replied.

"No, it's fine. I'm leaving" Ava said cutting her off as she grabbed her phone and walked out the door.
