I put my hands on my head in distress. I can barely breath. I bite my lip.
"Casey? Casey? You alright?" she asks.
"I watched him die," I mumble quietly.
"What? I couldn't hear."
"I watched him die." Her mouth opens. She pants rapidly and stares at the ground.
"When did this happen?" she yells.
"Right before I met you I walked pass this hall and I heard him talking about how he wanted and extraordinary life but how he likes how it ended...with you."
Her mouth is widens but she is still staring at the floor. Suddenly, she stands up and walks down stairs. Before I can say a word she shuts the heavy door with a loud thud.
