It's pouring rain. There is a crazy amount of traffic. The streets are crowded with barely any space to move. I have never heard so much honking in one day. People really want to get out of this traffic and wet weather.
It's been two hours. Traffic has hardly changed and is moving the slightest bit faster. When I reach the intersection, I see bright lights in the dark, night sky. Blue and red.

With my hands on the grassy lawn and my head hanging low to the ground I weep with terror for what I had just witnessed. I stare at the ground, a green blur for I can't see with these tears in my eyes. But the green blur turns to a flashing purple for every other second. I look up and see the flashing red and blue lights.
***********************************Looking closer at the intersection I see a bag. A body bag.

At one in the morning the police zipped up the body bag right under my knees and patted me on the back with a big thud.
***********************************I blink and keep driving to my house.
