Isaac's mother opens the door and welcomes me in. She guides me to Isaac's room where I open the door slowly.
"Isaac? You in here?"
"Yeah," he says in a sorrowful voice. I walk in.
"I brought something for you. I thought you might like it. I know I did."
I hand the CD to him. "What's this?" he asks, rubbing his hands on the case.
"It's a punk rock band," I answer. "My dad and I used to listen to it in the car. We loved rock. And I heard what you said at the park and I really do feel bad for you. And your disability. Not only that, but the friendship I could have ruined. I'm sorry, Isaac." He smiles.
"It's okay, Casey. Its okay."
