Christmas Wish (Gray Surge)

You were late.

Today, everyone was going to the guild's Christmas party, but you weren't ready because you just happened to run out of warm clothes.

You had your boots, but everything else in your closet wasn't exactly fit for the cold weather.

Sighing, you closed your closet as you remained in your warm pajamas. You were actually considering to just leave the house in your pajamas.

There was a pair of pants you didn't mind wearing since it looked nice, but you wanted to be extra warm. After all, it was snowing today!

Disturbing you from the little debacle you were having, the sound of the door being knocked upon reached your ears.

You wrapped a blanket around your shoulders before rushing to the front door.

Opening it, some snow came in with an all too familiar man.

"Merry Christmas (First Name)!"

You blushed with a small smile.

"Merry Christmas Gray. Come on in. I'm sure it's cold out there."

The layered man walked in and looked at you.

"Shouldn't you be ready for the Christmas party? I can see you have the presents ready."

You blushed.

"Um, well I sort of ran into a problem."

He blinked in confusion giving you an innocent look that made your heart pick up its pace.

"Ah...I ran out of warm clothes and since it's still snowing, I don't think I'll be able to go."

Gray chuckled.

You blinked and saw him grinning towards your way.

"Then just do what I do, (First Name)!"

With red cheeks, both you and Gray made it to the party.

Everyone was exchanging gifts, eating, and laughing together.

Mirajane spotted the two of you and giggled.

"There you two are! Oh, how cute! The two of you are matching!"

Gray smiled as you blushed.

Back at home, Gray had helped you put layer after layer on just to keep you warm.

Ironically, the two of you had the same colors on the final layer, making you both match.

"Juvia-sama!"

Just like that, the layered man took off for his beloved Juvia.

You sighed and set down the presents you got everyone before taking a seat somewhere.

Lucy had Natsu in a chokehold while Levy soon joined in the fight.

Didn't seem like the holidays affected their usual routine on the poor pink haired male.

Macao sat down next to you with a kind smile.

"All by yourself today, (First Name)?"

"Yeah. Well, I came in with Gray, but he's with Juvia."

The older male chuckled.

"Even after he planned all of this, the kid still fawns over her."

You blinked.

"Planned what?"

"He didn't tell you yet? Oh boy. Well, go on and ask him yourself."

Confused, the older man walked away heading for the eggnog at the bar.
