Merry Christmas (Rogue Cheney)

This wasn't your plan at all! Everything was ruined.

Today was Christmas and your house was robbed last night while you were asleep, your boyfriend broke up with you with a stupid letter, the plumbing decided to break just so you couldn't have hot water, a fire broke out in your kitchen, and to top it all off, rent was due in three days and you were short on money.

Pang!

Add a broken heater to that list.

A sigh escaped your lips and you parked yourself on the couch in the living room as you felt the temperature drop.

Just what kind of Christmas was this? You didn't do anything bad this year. Tears formed in your eyes and you began to cry as you sat in your barely furnished house. You were lucky enough they left the couch.

Frosch held a fish with a bow on it as he walked beside Rogue.

Rogue looked down with a small smile.

"I'm sure (First Name) will love your gift, Fro."

"Fro thinks so too!"

He chuckled as he, too, held a gift of his own for you. Today, Rogue wanted to make this a special day for you despite the fact that you were dating someone else. He had been crushing on you for the longest time, but never wanted to rush things or ruin the current friendship you both had.

You were that important to him.

As Rogue and Frosh came up to your house, Rogue noticed that the decorations he had helped with a few days ago were now torn down, some even missing.

Concerned, Rogue knocked on the door.

The door opened revealing you bundled up with red eyes and a red nose. Cold air brushed his face as he noticed that it was freezing in your house...including that majority of your furniture was missing.

"(First Name)?! What happened?!"

You stared at the floor, feeling the tears making a come back.

"I...Rogue, nothing is going right! This is the worst Christmas ever!"

Frosh became sad as he witnessed your tears.

"(First Name)..."

The small Exceed's voice reached your ears making you see that he was holding up a fish with a bow.

Squatting down, you tilted your head.

"Fro, is...is that for me?"

"(First Name) is having a bad Christmas. Fro got you a gift. Please cheer up."

He held up the fish while he looked like he was about to cry because you were crying.

A giggle escaped your lips.

"Thank you, Fro. I love it."

You took the fish in one hand and used your other hand to hug the young cat.

Rogue chuckled and smiled toward your way.

"Come on. Let's get you somewhere warm."

Resting on Rogue's couch embracing the warmth of his home, Frosh sat next to you as Rogue was in the kitchen cooking to fish Frosh had given you.

"Thanks for letting me stay here Rogue."
