EDEN ABRELL
Pulling up in my aunt's driveway was surreal and it brought me relief. I felt like I couldn't breathe in that car.
I took off my seatbelt and stepped out of the car to go get my suitcase when I heard my name being called.
"Eden! Oh my, Eden!" My aunt Ivana, in all her beautiful honey blonde-haired and coffee brown-eyed glory, was yelling my name and running down the driveway towards me with her arms spread open.
I giggled and ran up to her, meeting her halfway, accepting the hug she offered. Her arms wrapped tightly around me as she squealed.
"Hey Ivana," I laughed, leaving her embrace.
"Hello Eden. My goodness, you get more gorgeous every time I see you!" My aunt exclaimed.
I smiled and laughed softly, "Thank you, so do you, Ivana." It was very true. Not only was my aunt drop dead gorgeous but she aged like fine wine.
"And who are these two lovelies? Is everything okay with your car?" She questioned with a warm smile on her face once we had gotten hellos out of the way.
"This is my best friend, Gracie and her father, Mr King," I said softly, pointing to and looking at each person as I introduced them to my aunt, making sure to quickly skim my eyes over Mr King so I'm not tempted to stare at him like a mindless freak. I looked back to Ivana, seeing her instantly put two and two together. "And my car is in the dealership."
"Ah, I see." She said, smiling when she looked my way, a hidden look in her eyes. I knew what it meant. So this is him. It wasn't a question. She simply knew.
"Yeah," I smiled, answering the question. "So where is everyo-" I was cut off by one pair of hands grabbing my waist and another grabbing my legs. I screamed in fright as they lifted me up, standing side-by-side as they propped me on their shoulders, between their heads. I covered my face with my hands and breathed heavily.
"Levi, Leo." I laughed tensely. "You assholes," I said still coming down from the shock.
They both looked up at me grinning, "What's up cousin?"
"You jerks, how could you do this to me? I thought we were one and the same." I deliberately over-exaggerated the first sentence and put on an amazing performance for the second. I wobbled my chin and tears welled up in my eyes. Levi and Leo looked up at me in worry and quickly and carefully put me down. I covered my face with my hands, this time to hide my smirk and continue my performance as the boys tended to me.
