ellie laughed as we walked out of the building and towards jacks car.
"i don't know but giving us that amount of homework was so unnecessary."
we both laughed but i stopped abruptly when i saw a smiley zach standing with a poster board.
"what the fuck."
i whispered and slowly moved towards him. he took a few steps in my direction and smiled even brighter.
"you wanna go to prom with me?"
i dropped my jaw and my throat felt dry. i was silent for a few moments and zachs face started to drop.
"zach i-."
"oh god this was such a bad idea, i'm so sorry georgia."
he went to walk off but i quickly spoke up.
"zach wait!"
he turned back around and raised one of his eyebrows. i smiled at him and he looked confused.
"i'd love to go to prom with you."
he smiled brightly and ran up to me, dropping the poster board and lifting me up in his arms. the boys and ellie all came rushing over with their phones out and started cheering. he pulled his head back and smiled at me before kissing me passionately.
"congratulations guys!!"
"zeoriga is happening!"
we pulled away smiling and he kissed my cheek, and ellie ran in front of us with her phone out.
"say cheese guys!"
