Chapter Two

[Your POV]

"(Y/N), I think you're overreacting." Veronica said, still in her school uniform.

"What other explanation is there, Veronica!?" I cried, rolling up my TMNT posters and closing my laptop. 

"Um, I-I dunno!" She said, racking her brain for an explanation as she began packing. We had about an hour until we had to meet Shredder down at the main entrance of the school. "Maybe he was expecting more people to know about TMNT, so he came in...cosplay?"

"Then he would've worn the whole set of armor!" I said. "He only wore the helmet!"

"Maybe he thought it would be a funny joke or something!" She said.

"Veronica, stop denying it!" I said. "Stop denying it and get dressed!" She got out of her school uniform, getting dressed into a turquoise t-shirt and jeans. I put on my (F/C) (pants/skirt) and a (white or black, whichever you like) shirt.

"But he's a fictional character!" She said. "You even showed me who the voice actor was! He was on Cupcake Wars for God's sake!"

"I know! But...what if it's true!? Or the show came to life!? Or-" I was about to spin off into a series of theories when Blake and Zion appeared in the doorway. Blake was wearing a plaid blue button up shirt and beige pants. Zion wore a white tank top and black pants, his orange hoodie wrapped around his waist.

"You guys ready?" Blake asked.

"Yeah, hurry it up!" Zion said with a yawn. 

"I betcha we're being kidnapped!" I said.

"(Y/N), stop with the theories!" Veronica said, shoving a piece of paper in my mouth. She gave a sigh and picked up her suitcase. It clearly wasn't that heavy. I finished packing my posters and everything else I had. Afterwards, the four of us walked around the school. Classes were still in session, so it was just us and the other students who were chosen to go with Shredder.

"You know, Shredder never told us how long we would be on this 'training camp'." I said, the realization coming to me.

"As if this wasn't sketchy enough..." Zion commented.

"The whole announcement about us going on a training camp was a surprise, so maybe the duration will also remain a surprise!" Blake said, trying to sound optimistic. I sighed as we walked around the school. None of us really had any friends here at the boarding school, so there wasn't anyone to really say goodbye to. We stopped by some classes and thanked the teachers who educated us on our chosen subjects. After that, we sat in the gym, watching the other students play dodgeball. When the time came, we made our way to the main entrance of the school, finding fifteen other students waiting. A couple black vans showed up. The men driving looked like the...human bodies the Kraang use to disguise themselves on Earth!

"See? The drivers look like Kraang soldiers!" I whispered yelled to Veronica. She just rolled her eyes.

"Maybe they're twins..." She said unsurely. My foot tapped the ground in anticipation while Shredder explained where we were being taken.

"You students will be joining me in the ultimate training camp in the one and only city of New York. I, Oroku Saki, am now your sensei." We all nodded and gave a small bow. The van doors opened and the students began piling in. Veronica and Blake linked arms with me while Zion held onto the back of his brother's backpack. We got into the van in front, taking seats. The van had nine seats, so I guessed the second van had the same amount. Nearly perfect. The seats were on either side of the van, so us students were staring at each other. I sat on the end with Veronica to my right. Blake and Zion sat in the seats in front of us. We fastened our seatbelts. I looked over at the empty seat next to me. Who would sit next to me?
