[Your POV]

I slowly closed the sliding door behind me as I entered the dojo, being as quiet as I possibly could. I looked over at Splinter, who was meditating silently. His ear twitched and he opened his eyes, looking over at me. "Hello, (Y/N)." He said, almost startling me.

"Hi, Master Splinter." I said, giving him a bow. "I'm sorry if I'm intruding..."

"You are fine, child." Splinter said. "Now, what has brought you here?" He got on his feet and I walked over to him.

"I suppose I should start with...I'm sorry for being a bother." I said. Splinter smiled and laid a hand on my shoulder.

"You are not being a 'bother' or a burden of any kind, (Y/N)." He said. "My sons and I are happy to help you. Yes, your predicament is quite out of the ordinary, but that won't stop us from getting you on your feet." I let out a sigh of relief. "Now, are you here for any other reason?"

"Well, yes..." I said. "I was hoping, if you wouldn't mind...teaching me the ways of the ninja...? If it's not too much trouble!" He chuckled and nodded.

"You are a strange one." He said. "But yes, I will teach you some things, if that's what you wish." He removed his hand from my shoulder and stood up straight, his back facing the tree in the dojo. I mimicked him, standing up straight and taking a deep breath. "The first step is learning how to breathe."

For the next twenty minutes, Splinter put me through a variety of basic exercises. It felt nice, getting back to doing something I was used to. Pushups, situps, different breathing techniques and such and such. After those twenty minutes, Splinter walked to a shelf and picked up two wooden swords. While Splinter was giving me tips on my stance, Leonardo walked in. "Sensei, April and Casey are on their way." He said, looking at the two of us. "Are you two...going to spar?"

"Well, we were." Splinter said. "But I think the two of you should instead, now that you're here, Leonardo." My eyes widened. I was going to spar with Leonardo!?

"Um, sure thing, Sensei." Leo said, pulling out one of his swords. I stood up straight, gripping the wooden stick I was holding. I couldn't help but smile as I kept my feet at shoulder width apart. Leo smiled too. "Don't worry, (Y/N). I'll go easy on you." Once we were both ready, Splinter stood back by the tree. He gave the word and Leo and I began circling the middle of the room. "So, (Y/N), how often do you spar?"

"Um, not very often." I said. "I quit fencing years ago."

"Holy cow, how many sports have you done?" He asked.

"...A lot." I said, making him smirk. He swung his sword forward and I jumped back, dodging it. Wait, I just realized that Leo had a REAL sword. Getting hit by it would give me a crazy scar. Hopefully he wouldn't cut me. I doubt he would, but still. Accidents happen.

He swung his sword again and my wooden sword swung up to meet his. Wait, was this even fair? I thought Leo said he would go easy on me, but his sword is made out of sharp steel while mine is blunt wood. His sword cut right through the tip of mine, cutting it clean off! I took a step back, keeping the distance between us. This was an unfair fight! Leo swung his sword at me once again and cut through my wooden stick. I looked down at the stick. It was now half the size of when Sensei first handed it to me. I puffed out my cheeks and blew out the air, making eye contact with Leo for the first time since this spar started. His eyes sparkled and they widened.

His cheeks went...pink? Wait, I've flustered him! Hell yeah! "U-Uh, what's the look for-" He started, but I chucked what was left of my wooden stick at him, hitting him square in the head. "ACK!" He was definitely taken by surprise. I kicked the hilt of his sword, knocking it out of his hand. I used that foot to sweep underneath his feet, making his fall flat on hit shell. I quickly sat on his plastron before he got the chance to stand up.

"Yameru!" Splinter said. I smiled and stood up, holding out my hand to Leo. His cheeks were still pink as he took my hand and I pulled him to his feet.

"Wow." Leo said. "You did great..."

"Especially for someone in an unfair fight." Splinter said. Ah, so he knew. "I'm surprised you let your guard down so easily, my son." He turned to Leo, who looked away in embarrassment. Splinter chuckled.

"Whoa, Leo, you just got your butt kicked!" A familiar voice said from the sliding doors of the dojo. The three of us looked over to see Raph, Donnie, and Mikey watching from the entrance.

"I hate to say it, but Mikey's right for once." Raph said. Leo gritted his teeth, but kept his composure.

"What do you guys want." Leo said through gritted teeth.

"April and Casey are here." Donnie informed.

"Go ahead, you two." Splinter said. "(Y/N) and I can train more later." I smiled and made my way to the entrance of the dojo with Leo.

"Hey, (Y/N)." Leo said, getting my attention. "Next time, I won't lose to you."

"It looked like you had the advantage and still lost." Raph said with a smirk. Leo growled, but didn't make any move to fight with Raph.

"You did pretty great too, Leo." I said. "Thanks for going easy on me." The blush on Leo's cheeks grew deeper.

"Flustered Leo." Donnie said. "A sight I've never seen."

"I'm not flustered, I'm just..." Leo said. "I just had fun sparing."

"Mhmmm, sure." Mikey said. Leo glared at him, shutting him up. Casey and April stood in the living room, chatting with each other. When they saw me, their eyes widened, but mostly April's.

"Hey, I think...I've seen you somewhere..." She said, walking close to me, looking me up and down. "Do I know you?"

I know you.

"No, we haven't met." I said. Would it be too freaky to tell her all this stuff about the different dimensions and such? Probably not. In fact, it would probably be more freaky for Casey. If this was the second season, he was most likely just getting introduced to all this stuff.

"Wait, I recognize you!" She said. "You were on that girl's phone screen!" I stared blankly at her. A girl's phone screen...the only person I had ever allowed to take pictures of me was...

"You know Veronica!?" I cried. "Where is she? Did she escape?"

"'Escape'?" April repeated.

"Do you know...anything about Veronica?" I asked, holding April by the shoulders. "Please?"
