[Your POV]

"Master Splinter, I can explain-" Leonardo started, but Splinter wouldn't let him finish. The rat held up his hand, silencing his son. He strolled over to me and I kept my head down, bowing.

"Please explain your reasons for being here." Splinter said. I nodded and told my story about getting kidnapped by Shredder, getting the coded plans with Blake, getting chased by Tigerclaw, and everything else up to this point. I also explained how I was from an alternate dimension and such. By the end of the explanation, I was standing up straight and Splinter was stroking his thin beard. "Ah..." He said awkwardly.

"I know, sensei, it's definitely a strange predicament." Leo admitted. "But please don't kick (Y/N) out."

"Why would I kick them out?" Splinter asked. "If they have nowhere else to go, then I will gladly provide shelter."

"Wait, are you serious, sensei?" Raph asked.

"Boo-yah!" Mikey cried. "High three, dude!" He held his hand up towards me and I gave him a high five. High three? A mixture of both? I let out a sigh of relief with Splinter's answer.

"Of course I'm serious, Raphael." Splinter said. "Who would we be if we left a person in need alone to fend for themselves?"

"Well...uh..." Raph struggled with his words.

"You are heroes. You are also my sons." Splinter said. "Show our new guest some kindness. I will be in the dojo meditating if you need anything. Feel free to join anytime, (Y/N)." He smiled at me, a twinkle in his eye. Just as I had thought from watching the series, Splinter had that father-like charm. He was a strict parent sometimes and when he was serious, you knew you were screwed. But he was also a kind and gentle person.

I smiled as he exited the kitchen. "Yooo, you're Splinter approved!" Mikey said.

"Yeah." Leo said. "What a relief..." He smiled at me and I smiled back. "So, (Y/N), is there anything you'd like to do?" I thought about the question and shrugged. But then a lightbulb dinged.

"Can you, uh, give me a tour around the lair?" I asked shyly.

"Anything for a fan." Leo said, leading me out of the kitchen. I heard Raph scoff and mimic Leo in a cocky voice, making Mikey chuckle. I followed Leo into the living room. "So, what would you like to see first?"

"Everything..." I said quickly.

"Well, uh, in that case, here's the living room." Leo said with a grin, gesturing to the living room. "This is the TV, where we watch the best of the best cartoons, like Space Heroes." I smiled and decided to bust some news that I hoped would come as a good thing.

"You know, there's a show from my world that's a lot like Space Heroes. It's called Star Trek." I said.

"Wait, really?" He asked, excited. "What's it like?" I giggled and looked him up and down. He realized he was geeking out and stopped, standing up straight. "I-I mean, uh, on with the tour! This is our bean bags, couch, and other places where we sit. There's our tire swing, our arcade..." He continued listing off all their stuff as we walked around the lair. He pointed out the different bedrooms, the dojo, and I saw everything. Then we were back in the kitchen. "So, did the couch look comfy enough to sleep on?"

I nodded and found myself wandering around the kitchen. I stopped in front of the fridge. "Can I look inside your fridge?" I asked, doing my best to hold back my excitement. He nodded and I opened the freezer, coming face to face with a neapolitan flavoured ice-cream kitty. "Ice-cream Kitty!" It meowed and stuck my hand in the fridge, letting it sniff it. It droopily purred and I closed the freezer.

"Heh, you knew about Ice-cream Kitty." Leo observed. I nodded.

"One of my favorites." I said with a smile.

"Who's your all time favorite?"

"You and your bros, obviously!" I said. After finishing the tour, I approached the training dummy by the living room. "This thing looks like it's seen better days..."

"Well, when you live in a house with a hot headed mutant turtle, someone's gotta take it." Leo said.

"I heard that, Leo!" Raph yelled from his room. I chuckled and looked the dummy up and down, shuffling around it.

"You seem really intrigued by our training dummy." Leo said.

"Well, yeah! You kick it in the first intro!" I said, giving it a little punch myself. "I'm pretty interested in...just about everything in this world! I grew up with you and your brothers and everyone else... By the way, how old are you guys now?"

"Sixteen." Leo answered. Ah, so this is the second season. He chuckled while I inspected more and more of the items in closer detail. After about ten minutes, he spoke again. "You know, I honestly feel kinda bad."

"What for?" I asked. "You're giving me an opportunity that I never thought was possible!"

"Well, you know my brothers and I so well but...I hardly know anything about you as a person." He said. I nodded and thought about it.

"Well then, how about we become friends?" I asked. "Like how you're friends with April and Casey, except I sleep on your couch." I held up my hand. "High three?"

"I like the sound of that..." He said, smacking his hand against mine. High fiving someone with only three fingers wasn't as weird as I thought it was when I was little. In fact, it feels quite natural.

"Hey, guys, you might wanna come and check this out." Donnie said, finally emerging from his lab, gesturing for the two of us to enter. Leo explained that I would be living on the couch from now on and Donnie gave me a thumbs up.

"So why'd you call us in here?" I asked.

"Well, okay, this whole code thing isn't going very well for me." Donnie admitted. "I've tried all the codebreakers I know, but none have worked. It's almost like Shredder came up with an entirely new language with this. Yes, I even tried translating it, in case it was a different language."

"Okay, so where should we go from here?" Leo asked.

"Well, the only possible thing we can do is sneak into Shredder's lair and look for some kind of key in Stockman's lair." Donnie said. "But even then, it's gonna be rough..."

"Well, we have to try, Donnie." Leo said. "The fate of the world depends on it."

"Don't remind me..." Donnie said. "Okay, thanks to this footage of Shredder's lair, I've been able to map it out. But in the end, you call the shots, Leo." Leo placed his hand on his chin and he looked over at me.

"What else do we know?" He asked.

"Well, it seems that Shredder's formed some sorta alliance with the Kraang." Donnie said. "So that means it'll be double the challenge."

"We should call April and Casey." Leo said.

"Should we get them involved?" Donnie asked, obviously worried about April.

"From the sounds of it, we're gonna need all the help we can get, Donnie." Leo said somewhat sadly. "Tell them to meet us here at the lair." While Donnie dialed numbers into his T-Phone, Leo left the lab to alert Raph and Mikey. But I stopped him before he did.

"Hey, uh, Leo?" I asked. He looked back at me. "Do you think it'd be rude to go and...talk to Splinter?" He blinked.

"Well, he said you were welcome anytime." Leo said. "I doubt he would've given you an invitation if he didn't want you to see him." I nodded and he walked down the hallway to alert his brothers. I looked over at the entrance to the dojo. With a deep breath, I approached the sliding doors.
