The Billionaire's Surrogate

Chapter 21

      "So girls, I remember you saying you are best friends so I assume you guys met my boys together. How did that go?" Estelle asked.

    "I met Alejandro at this cafe that we work at and he invited me to his nightclub and we met Anthony there" Cassie says.

    "Oh. What would you girls like to eat?" she asks us. We turn to view what was being prepared at the station we were standing at.

    This seemed to be the grill station so I chose to have a burger with barbecue sauce and two sausage rolls.

     Cassie had a burger with barbecue sauce and that was all. Estelle led us over to a table where Alejandro and A thong were already sitting, talking to each other. The Cassie and I sat down as Estelle spoke.

   "Anthony baby, walk with me please?"

   Anthony got up from the table and walked away with his grandmother. Cassie, Alejandro and I immersed into light conversation as we ate.

   
     *Anthony's P.O.V*

   "Yes Grandmom" I say as I walk with her away from where my friends sat.

    "I love her" she says, stopping in her tracks and looking at me. "And how did I not know that you were expecting. I'm hurt" she says, punching my shoulder, and boy did grandmom pack a punch.

     "Im sorry about that grandmom, it all kind of spontaneously happened" I confessed.

   "But still, you had two months to tell me. How did this happen? Where's Ruth?" she asked me, whispering her last question.

    "To be honest I have no clue where she is. I served her some divorce papers and she disappeared" I told my grandmom.

   "Its about time, I never liked her from the start, remember I was saying this before the marriage" she says.

   "I do remember". My grandmother always said she did not like Ruth and they did not get along at all. She hated her even more after how Ruth had betrayed me.

      "Eloise is such a lovely girl. I feel so at ease around her and she fit in so perfectly" grandmom says and I turn around, looking in the direction in which my friends were sitting.

   They were laughing at something and I notice Eloise holding her stomach as she laughs. Her eyes close due to her laughter and she is using her other hand to hit the table.

   She's so cute. She looks up and our eyes meet. I smile at her instead of looking away and she waves at me.

   I return my attention to my grandmom.

   "Does she know about Ruth?"

"Yes she does. This all happened because of Ruth actually and I'm actually glad she did this.

   She claims that she was trying to scare Eloise off because she saw that I liked her, so she asked her to be our surrogate, but surprisingly Eloise agreed. This went against Ruth's liking but I dont care, I'm over the moon ecstatic" I tell my grandmother.

    "What a story to tell the kids" she laughs and I laugh as well. "Well, you've got my blessing baby boy, please dont mess this up" she says.

   I look back to Eloise. "I dont plan to grandmom. Believe me" I say.

    Night came sooner than I thought. We were having a really great time until Estelle had to go up on the stage and address the crowd.
