chapter twelve: chole jealousy

Marinette pov..
Walking up the next morning I felt like my heart was beating faster than anything in this world ?  I knew that this was going to be a good day ?? I had already made it through the week without any struggles?? My boss and I have feelings for each other and my friends are everything to me ?? I dont know how amazing my life can get??

I'm so thankful for everything ?? But I should get going to work or else I will be late ??

* I left my apartment and ran to the bus stop to get on and made it to work two mintues before I was officially late ??
Levi and Nathaniel were already there waiting for me to tell them what happened between the boss and I??
They were super excited?? *

We started to talk ??

Levi : I have never seen you run so fast marinette??

Marinette: yeah I was trying but rubbing isn't really my thing you know??

*Nathaniel laughs *

Levi : hey sont laugh Nathaniel that's kinda rude you know??

Nathaniel: I'm sorry for laughing but everytime I see here either running  from something it looks like she could play in a movie ??

Marinette: I wish ?? But I have a feeling today might not be the best day you know ??

Levi : why you say that ??

Marinette: I dont know I just have this bad feeling but I guess I will ignore it ??

Nathaniel: probably for the best ??

After we stopped talking chole started to walk upstairs to Adrien's office ? I watched her as she walked with her tiny shoes up the stairs?? For some reason I feel like I'm starting to become more jealous everytime I see her around him ??
It not that I mean to be jealous but I know she likes Adrien too ?? But not for the same reasons I like him ?? She doesn't appreciate the good things he gave to us ?? Like he gave us a job and a chance for a better life and opportunity?? She doesn't understand what it is like to be a the bottom on nothing ??

Her parents must be rich ?? Must be nice having a fancy place to go home to while the rest of us just have houses with call home ?? I'm not saying it a bad thing I'm just saying that people dont appreciate things until they are actually gone for good ??

I'm not trying to wish her any bad luck im just saying . As she entered his office with permission . I walked up behind her wish another sketch for one of my designs ??
I went to the door and tried to be a quiet as possible so I could possibly overhear what they are talking about ??
