chapter forty: a day of planning

Marinette pov..
As I woke up to see the sen hit my face. I stumbled out of my bed and went into my living room and started to think for a bit. At first it didn't come to me that it was almost time for work ?

But the second thing was really starting to get to me. I know I was forgetting something and then it hit me. When I looked at grace. I started to realize that her birthday was coming up and that her parents couldn't really celebrated like they wanted to because they didn't have enough money back then...

As I started to wake up grace slowly . I started to come up with ideas for her amazing birthday party. But I couldn't tell her that I was going to do it. So I have to play it cool but try and also try not to hurt her feelings..

So as our morning slowly started. I got up to make some breakfast for grace. And I see that she likes bacon and eggs in the morning.

She smiles at me each time when I put them in a silly face. I always love to see her smile in the morning. That's what makes me happy to know that I am doing a good job taking care of her so far. I wish her mother could see these special moments that we have.

I'm sure she would be happy to know that her little girl is happy and is with someone who cares about her as much as she did.

Anways after we ate our delicious breakfast I had to give grace a bath and make sure I put on her pull-up before we go to Alya's house..

Oh by the way in case you all didn't know . Alya didn't really become want she wanted to be because of some minor setbacks but she did met the love of her life . Which is my best friend nino . After she met him it was like they were made for each other. The spark in them just ignited. I was so happy and also thankful that they found each other.

But yeah Alya became a babysitter for a company called "happy babies". Even though it wasn't her dream job . She still loves the little things. When she first met my grace . She absolutely fell in love with her. Grace is really active and loves to play a lot with the other kids.

But as I got ready for another day at work . I looked at grace and smiled and knew that it was all going to be okay . I eventually dropped her off and went to work...

Meanwhile with adrien ...

Adrien pov..
My mornings aren't always the best . For example I woke up today in a hurry because my big boss is coming up to with this idea plan to help us earn more money in the future. So i dashed out of my bed and into the shower.

After that I got my morning coffee and headed straight for work . When I walked up to the glass doors there was Marinette. Looking beautiful as always and we started to talk before entering the building ...

Marinette " oh good morning adrien . Nice to see you this morning. So how did you sleep last night?" She said with a smile.
