Calder POV

Ten mates, six babies, three girls, and three boys, thank the goddesses our house is built and we are moved in, finally. Our mates are getting closer to their due dates and things are pretty crazy.

"Cally... do you want to go shopping with us, or do you want to stay and help set up the nursery?" I looked at a pouting Callahan and Ivan.

"I think I'm gonna hang back here and help set up the nursery like painting and whatnot." Anything to avoid being the bag carrier.

"Ok, we love you." They both kissed me and left.

While waiting for Connor, Jake, and Danny I got the paints and stencils. Being the person Collen is, he wanted to be modern and new age. At least that's what Jake called him. He wants a themed nursery instead of solid colors. Me being the person I am, I drove to six different stores looking for the specific colors he wanted for a celestial wolf mural and galaxy stuff. How on earth did he even come up with that the world may never know. I thought oh he'll probably go with a beach theme but that's too 'basic'.

After I finished organizing the supplies I jumped ten feet high as Jake and the others teleport in.

"Give some warning will ya, send a text saying 'incoming' or 'on our way' just because Connor can use light teleportation now doesn't mean y'all can scare me half to death. Y'all are mean." I pouted.

"Less pouting, more working." Jake said. For a retired Alpha he still is bossy.

We have six hours to finish the nursery. Since Collen had all of us do a registry with one of the maternity and baby emporium places we got everything we need for twenty babies but we're not I'm stating that now.

"So do you guys have names yet?" I smiled. I at least knew what letters I wanted my names to start with. Apparently, it's an O'Brian tradition to pick a letter to name your babies. (Changing the tradition here it seems.)

"I'm going with V and F, same as Callahan. Our parents meant everything to us. Adriel chose Z, Ivan chose A, Jagger chose D, Killian chose H, Xavier chose K and Titan chose R. As for Collen he said it was a secret but I think I know what he'll pick." I smile looking at Danny and I'm sure he'd cry at the letter Collen chose. To be honest I thought he would have chosen S since Lazarus named Seraphina.

We were about halfway through decorating and setting up until I got a text from Titan saying Callahan got sick and they were about thirty minutes away so I started to panic and used my vampire speed to get things done in time and when that was done we all went downstairs as nothing happened and watched whatever we found interesting on TV.

As they walked in we turned to them.

"What happened, is he ok?"

"Callahan here tried fighting a human because they called us freaks for being in a polygamous relationship." Collen rolled his eyes.

"I bet that human isn't even in a relationship." Jake said, getting heated.

"People are going to say things that are hurtful but they don't understand or know our ways so be the bigger man, kiss your men, and walk away with a smile on your face." Danny thinks he's Yoda.

"You're right grandpa." Collen smiled and carried Callahan upstairs to the master suite.

"Is the nursery almost ready?" Xavier signed. We all kept up with our sign language even though Collen is talking again.

"It's finished and the door is magically locked thanks to the spell Skylar gave me when we started planning." I signed back.

"We're gonna get out of here since it's almost four in the afternoon, you guys have a good rest of your evening." Jake said smiling.
