"so you really gone choose a nigga or yo own child?"

Ayanna was only 16 years old when her momma kicked her out, her momma boyfriend said that he didn't want kids in the house that wasn't his so it was either he go or Ayanna go, sadly her mother chose a man over her own child. Ayanna picked up her book bag along with her two pair of shoes her momma threw outside she checked her phone to see what time it was, In Queens being outside passed 8 was deadly the only crowd that was out were prostitutes on ever corner and dope boys slanging that weight, Ayanna wipe the tears out her eyes while calling her grandma

"Yanna what you doing calling me late like this?"

"momma put me out granny"

"lord where you at?"

"outside about to walk to the corner store on 5th street"

"okay i'll pick you up there"

hanging up the phone Ayanna made her way up to Adams store she went in seeing two women going back and forth with one of the workers at the register she rolled her eyes going to the back getting a brisk from out the back walking up to the cash register her total came out to be 2.30 pulling out her five she handed to the man

"keep the change"

Ayanna walked out the store looking for her granny car seeing her just pulled up she walked to the car immediately

"this all your stuff?"

"yeah this the stuff she threw out"

"yo damn momma we'll get some clothes later"

her granny pulled out into the streets headed to her clam neighborhood she hated this for Ayanna as a child she shouldn't half to go through this having your mother choose between a man or her own flesh and blood it was sad and sickening. They soon came to a full complete stop Ayanna looked up seeing her granny house right in front of her, they both got out the car walking into the house

"how long?"

"how long what yanna?"

"how long you want me to stay here since you wouldn't let me stay the last time?"

Yanna has been through this more then once she was around 12 and it wasn't about a man her mom simply didn't want her there so she took the train to her granny house but when she got there her granny wasn't feeling the fact that she had to take care of a child so she didn't want her there as well but for some reason her granny was feeling nice all of a sudden

"you can stay for as long as you need to"

nodding her head Yanna knew exactly where the guest room was so she made her way towards the room shutting the door behind her she went to the bathroom filling up the tube with hot water and soap she soon took her clothes off putting one foot in then another she laid there letting out a few tears she didn't understand why nobody wanted her, she couldn't figure out why her mom put a man before her child she just couldn't get it. "all i want is for somebody to love me" covering her eyes with her wet hands she was broken ever since she was 5 her dad walked out on her and her mom that's when her heart had broken and he took a piece with him she was never the same....
