Tia sat in the quiet library with just few of her fellow students who were having a study section not to close by she looked on her laptop at all the information on Ja'Von case, she knew around the time she was apart of that situation, wishing that she wasn't she hoped that nobody would come forward and say her name she had too much going for herself at the moment.
Getting snapped out of her thoughts Nova took a seat right across from her she looked around the library at all of the students to make sure nobody was about to hear about their daily gossip.
"I thought you had class?" Nova asked as she drunk her Starbucks Carmel ice coffee
"It was cancelled so I thought about coming to the library, how was your job interview?" Tia asked ready to hear some updates about Ayanna
"Honestly the bitch is just way to bougie for me, she acting like people don't know her past." Nova said while rolling her eyes
Tia had put this idea in Nova head that Ayanna was a bad person and she did bad things to people, Nova took that and ran with it she never meant Ayanna on her own time except getting the job at her salon. She wanted to see for herself that what Tia was saying to her was true and so far it was.
Tia shook her head "typical Ayanna always thinking she better than everyone, good luck dealing with that everyday."
"All I'm tryna do is make money to support myself in college if the bitch come at me side ways I won't hesitate to beat that ass." Nova said
Tia laughed at Nova boldness before putting her attention on the laptop reading yet another report on Ja'Von body she wanted to stay in the clear of things and if she had too she would tell the truth if the cops every pulled her in for questioning.
"What you reading?" Nova asked trying to be nosey
"Nun reading about that body they found in the river shit crazy right?" Tia said playing the situation off
"It's fucked up people saying it was this big time drug dealer, I haven't been here a month and the tea just keeps spilling." Nova said she was from Ohio but moved to New York to start her hair business things were moving too slow in her city.
"It could be but I'm not for sure the police haven't said anything so far." Tia said playing along in the conversation
"Now we both know NYPD not gone do shit the streets gone do it, watch I bet they'll find who really did it." Nova said as she got on her phone leaving Tia to her thoughts
