"hell no" i said while sitting down on the couch
"girl watch yo mouth in my damn house hell wrong with you!" she said as she sat across from me
"i'm sorry granny but i don't want to see her nor live with her so why bring it up?" i asked
"because that's yo mother and she sorry for what she had done in the past" my granny said
i sucked my teeth bullshit "you and i both know she isn't sorry you just want me out this apartment" i said before standing up
"girl- if i wanted you out of this apartment i would've been kicked you out Yanna don't sit there and lie like that i just want you too be on good terms with one another that's all" she said
"you buggin ion got nun to say to that woman she chose a man over her own child i cut ties with her after that" i said
"look you either stay with her or you can stay here but you gone half to pay rent you grown now ain't nobody finna keep on taking care of you" my granny said
"i have a job granny i can pay bills" i told her
she laughed "that little pizza job downtown that can barely pay for the wifi in this damn house that yo ass wanted" she said
"ok but money is money" i said giving her a confused look
"money is money to you but to me money is for me to get by on the next payment of bills so you need to come up with yo decision by tomorrow or you getting the hell out of here" she said before going to her room shutting the door
i rolled my eyes and walked into my room grabbing some of clothes shoving it in one of my duffle bags if she think i'm about to stay at that woman house she buggin, i called up Tia she answered on the third ring
"wassuh gurl?" she said
"can i crash at y'all place tonight?" i asked her
"you know yo ass ain't gotta ask but can i ask why?" she asked me
"my granny wanted me to chose to stay at my momma house or stay here with her but i gotta pay bills i don't mind since i have a job but she said it wasn't enough" i said while putting two pair of my shoes in the bag as well zipping it up
"damn but girl you can stay here my momma loves you" she said
"ight where Tay Tay?" i asked before grabbing my house key along with my purse that has everything i need
