"so as you can see it's a three bedroom two baths" the Realtor Sonya said

Today was the day Ayanna would be getting her first apartment and she couldn't be more happy about it she was finally getting on her feet and it was just the start, Toosii came along with her to keep her some company and since he knew some nice apartments around the city, the two was growing even more close than what they wanted to people to know. Ayanna felt secure around him he made her feel safe and that's what she needed right about now. A few weeks ago she had ran into her ex Ja'Von while she was out to get some hair supplies he was yanking her around by her arm and was just out of his mind at that moment. Luckily she was out in public and he couldn't do that much damage to her, she was lucky for that but Yanna knew he would try it again.

"this looks like a whole penthouse" Toosii said while looking around the place

"i love it" Yanna said she smiled at how big the apartment was

"here is the full balcony that wraps around the apartment you have your very own privacy as well" Sonya added

"how much is rent?" Yanna asked

"well since this is a three bedroom apartment the prices do go up so it's around thousand a month" Sonya said with a serious face

"i was hoping it was lower than that but i'll take it" Yanna said with an uneasy look on her face she knew she saved up enough money that last for 5 months but she needed another income she was just going to have to keep busting her butt off with doing hair

"alright let me go get the paper work from the car and i'll be right back" Sonya said giving them a smile before leaving

Toosii walked up behind Yanna wrapping his arms around her giving her a soft kiss on the neck "how you feeling?" he asked since she seem a little tense

"i wish this wasn't no thousand dollars but i know i can make that money i just need to keep doing hair" Yanna said truthfully

"i got you i'll help you pay the rent and don't tell me no cause i'm not taking that answer" Toosii said

rolling her eyes she turned around facing him placing her lips onto his before letting go "i seen my ex a couple weeks ago"

Yanna didn't tell Toosii what happen only because she knew he was crazy and she also knew her ex was crazy she didn't want that type of beef going on around her since everything else is positive, Toosii let go of her looking at her with a confused expression

"what happen?" he asked

"he put his hands on me trying to yank me up luckily i was out in public and people were watching" Yanna said rubbing her arm on the side

"this shit happen a couple weeks ago and you didn't even tell me? i could've handle that nigga right then and there" Toosii said

"that's the reason why i didn't tell you i care about you too much to ever put you in that situation" Yanna said

"yo it don't matter ion play that shit with niggas putting they hands on a woman that's the same thing that happen to my momma" Toosii said while walking around trying to calm hisself down

"i'll see him out in the streets best believe that end of discussion" Toosii said which meant the conversation was over but Ayanna knew he was going to bring it back up so she left it alone for now

Sonya walked back in with a grin on her face and the papers in her hands "you ready to sign?" she asked me

Yanna gave her a small smile "More than ready" i told her
