Annabeth looked around the women's room.She saw some girls getting their makeup done in Poofy dresses and some in less poofy dresses. The room itself was normal sized, connected to four rooms in the back ,which were serving the purpose of a dress storage, changing room , accsesories and jewellery storage and a waiting room respectively.
She noticed queen Aphrodite in a corner talking on the phone animatedly ,a girl with choppy brown hair standing in front of her.
She was wearing a blue gradient dress, which accented her blue eyes. She seemed to be whispering something to Aphrodite, who must be her mother since the girl was wearing a pink tiara, representing the Kingdom of Aphrodite.
''The dress was meant to be pink " ,Annabeth heard Aphrodite half yell to the person on the floor
''All my daughters were supposed to be dressed like princesses in pink ! The dress you gave Piper is blue!!''
"It's all right, Mom. I actually do prefer this one over the pink dress", the girl, Piper, said.
The rest of the conversation was hushed but Annabeth noticed Aphrodite give up and give in to the demands of her daughter.
Aphrodite signalled to Sally who brought in a shimmering pink shrug but Piper dismissed it immediately. She turned away from it as if the sight of it terrified her.
Annabeth realised that her eyes were green, not blue.
"Annie!" , she heard a voice whisper behind her and turned around to see none other than Thalia Grace in the poofiest dress she'd ever seen her in.

Annabeth burst out laughing. There were tears rolling down her cheeks as she laughed. This caused a lot of people to glance at her, including the Piper girl whose eyes seemed to have mysteriously changed to brown.
Kaleidoscope eyes, Annabeth concluded, turning her attention back to Thalia, who was glaring at her.
''Nice way to greet your sister, Annie'' Thalia said, smirking and glaring all at once.
Annabeth missed Thalia.Even though she looked different now in a big gown with lipstick and eyeshadow, she still looked like her Thalia to her. Her hair was short and black, and her electric blue eyes shone, like a hunter searching for her prey.
''I would've hugged you Thals, but I didn't want to get lost in your dress'' Annabeth smirked, enveloping Thalia and her gown in a massive hug anyway.
"Can't wait till Luke see's your gown'' Annabeth whispered
"What?!" Thalia exclaimed, pulling back, glaring at Annabeth." I'll have you know I didn't agree to this. I was forced by the queen make up to put this hideous thing on and what did you say about Luke ?!" She exclaimed.
"Oh nothing ! Just that he would laugh as much as I did" Annabeth lied, smirking .
