Rosalie had been in LA for a total of a day and already she missed London. Gabby had been very nice to her, introducing her to her friends who seemed nice enough.
There was Natalie. She was the daughter of some film producer, a complete LA socialite but she was as nice as they come which was more than a surprise to Rosalie. Then there was Chanel, the daughter of current CEO of Chanel, who's apparent life long dream had been to work there as he even named his daughter after her. And lastly Kyle, he was bisexual and as flamboyant as they come. He was brutally honest one hundred of the time but in the most charming way.
Gabby had invited her out to drinks with them, in order to get to know them. The first thing Kyle had said was 'you're that stripper that dated Harry Styles' to which Rosalie went bright red. Instead of everyone making judgemental comments, they all laughed and talked about how they commended her on lasting that long with him.
"No matter how mortifying might be to you, there will be people who have done worse." Gabby whispered to her as she noticed Rosalie shrinking at the mention of him.
Rosalie decided that was one thing she liked about LA. You could've dated drake but no one will give a shit because there will always be someone who will laugh in your face and proceed to tell a story about how they dated the president. You just weren't significant. In her case, she liked that none of these people cared. It was merely an anecdote to them.
"So what was it like being a stripper?" Natalie asked, seemingly genuinely curious. "It must be different in the UK"
"Well, I don't know what it's like here but we basically get up on a pole or walk around giving lap dances or do private room dances." She explained casually. They were all sucked into the conversation now.
"I'm guessing that's where you met Harry?" Kyle wondered. Rosalie couldn't help but smile, she knew that's what people assumed when the story had come out.
"Surprisingly, no. We met through a mutual friend." She laughed and watched all their faces morph into surprise. Chanel giggled with her high pitched voice as she hit Kyle's arm.
"Just to warn you that Kyle will be asking many questions about Harry, he's a huge One Direction fan." She said to Rosalie. Kyle gasped as if she had just betrayed him.
"How dare you, we were having a civilised conversation." Rosalie couldn't help but laugh as she shook her head. "But I am, a huge one direction fan for the record." He said, leaning closer to her as he spoke.
"I didn't know him when he was in the band, sorry." Kyle put his arm around her and shook his head.
"You're lucky you had him with the Dunkirk hair." As if that was supposed to reassure her. Rosalie laughed as the girls rolled their eyes.
"Great film!" Gabby burst, they all nodded. Rosalie had never watched it since they broke up just as it came out and the thought of seeing him in a film made her feel sick ever since.
"No wait! I haven't finished with my stripper questions." Natalie whined so they stopped talking about Harry for a brief moment.
Harry, while Rosalie was having drinks was sat at his home in LA watching Camille collect all the things she had accumulated over their relationship. He was tired from touring, which had stopped now until his show in Mexico City in June. The break up had been taking up all his free time, they had argued constantly about what to do until Camille had decided it was over. That was weeks ago but there was always the promise of her returning to get her things. It didn't really have the feeling he had thought it would though.
