Hindi nagpansinan sina Astrid at Nite sa buong umaga. Nagpapalit lang ng masamang tingin at pag-irap.
"Uuwi muna ako sa bahay. I didis-infect ko pa ang condo ko, may bacteriang nakapasok eh. Or bumili nalang kaya ako ng bago."
Humalakhak ako sa sinabi niya habang wala namang sinabi si Astrid.
It was another drinking session with Nite and Astrid that night. I received a call from Astrid na nag bar si Nite mag-isa. Someone told her and she told me too kaya pinuntahan na namin at baka ma intoxicate pa sa alcohol.
The next day was hell. Dalawang gabi pa namang ang daming nainom. I almost cursed when my doorbell rang early in the morning.
Bahagya akong nagulat nang nakita si Giro in his fresh corporate attire minus the suit.
And here I am, medyo magulo pa ang buhok and wearing only my silky night dress and not even wearing a bra! Not that it's really that obvious, but still.
His lips parted then he quickly scanned my body and I saw how his jaw clenched repeatedly.
Pero bakit ko nga ba siya pagsasaraduhan ng pinto? I want him to like me right? And this is a chance. I probably look like a breakfast right now.
"What brings you here?"
I fucking swear, hindi ko sinadyang maging sensual ang boses ko sa pagkakasabi non! Or did I? The fuck am I doing?
Kahit hindi ko pa siya pinapapasok ay humakbang na siya papasok kaya wala akong nagawa kundi ang umatras. His hands were immediately on my waist and one of his thumb is almost touching my underboob.
"You drunk texted me last night."
"Huh?"
Tangina anong mga sinabi ko? I got drunk what the hell.
"You open your door dressed like this? Good morning, by the way." He said in a menacing tone as he closed the door behind.
Agad niyang ibinalik ang kamay sa baywang ko at hinila ako mas palapit pa sa kanya. Pucha hindi pa ako nakakaligo at wala pang toothbrush!
At dahil dinalaw na naman ako ng ka pilyahan at kabaliwan sa utak ko, dagdagan pa na nagugustuhan ko ang reaksyon niya, I answered his question.
"I open even with just a towel around my body, Giro."
Hindi ko pa natatapos ang sinasabi ko ay pumikit na siya na mukhang problemadong problemado. And I can't help but smile while watching him like that.
"Can you at least wear a damn bra?" He said, almost pleading.
Napatawa na ako sa sinabi niya at bahagyang lumayo sa kanya, aware that I am not wearing one.
"Bakit ka ba kasi pumunta dito. Next time, tell me first. Para makapagsuot ako." I said while supressing a smile.
"So you're saying you'll still open your door to others just like this at sa akin hindi?"
"What?" Hindi na ako makapaniwala sa mga pinagsasabi niya. Sure ba siyang hindi niya ako gusto? "Umalis ka na nga. I have something to do." Bahagya akong lumayo sa kanya.
"I'll cook breakfast bago ako aalis. Is that okay with you?" He asked and tried to be close to me again.
Just thinking what he'll cook for breakfast, kumakalam na ang sikmura ko. What's this? Instant cook?
"Really? I'll just shower and change, then." Paalam ko at mabilis na pumasok sa kwarto.
I checked my phone and I really did text him, inviting him over to my unit and telling him to cook for me. Damn.
