I was doing the fifth chapter of my thesis paper when Astrid called and told me she wanna go shopping. She's probably stressed but I said no dahil I have to prepare pa for my date with Giro.

"Nagka boyfriend ka lang talaga pinapabayaan mo na ako."

She went to my unit soon after the call.

"I told you I have a date later."

"Diyan tayo talo." She laughed. "It's always just flirting and sex for me."

"Diyan tayo talo." I looked at the time and closed my laptop.

I still have two hours to prepare. When I looked at Astrid, nanliliit ang mga mata niya.

"You haven't... Oh my god I expected more from you Ali!" She was almost laughing.

"Oh no, no. Not this topic. I have to prep na." I stood up from the couch.

"I'll help you." She giggled. "Please? Bored ako."

She went through my closet and even my lingerie. She made me wear a dark red one.

I rolled my eyes when she looked at me pagkalabas ko. Her eyes were gleaming like this is some dress up game and I am her Barbie doll.

"Sa Batanggas Port kami Astrid, for your info. We'll be dining in a ship... or yacht, I don't know."

"What's wrong with that?"

"Where do you think we..." Hindi ko matapos ang pagsasalita, I just rolled my eyes again.

"There's a cabin! Or you can do it on the table or car if there's-"

"Astrid! Oh my god stop putting ideas in my head."

She also decided what I wore. It's a white long sleeved midi dress that hugged my body. Sobrag nipis na halos makita na ang panloob ko.

I did my make up and my hair is now longer so I tied it in a low bun. I put on some gold jewelries and my jasmine scented perfume, Giro's favorite.

I got a call from Giro at 5:00 asking me if I was ready para sabay na kaming bumaba ng tower.

"You go girl! Patulog muna dito." Astrid said when I was about to go out.

Giro and I were still in the call when I was walking in the halls.

"Tell me when you're near the elevator."

"I'm near."

"Okay. Wait for me."

I pressed the lift's button and waited for Giro. I smiled the moment I saw him when the lift's door opened.

Ang pogi, what the fuck.

He was leaning on the back side of the lift. He was almost smirking when he stared at me and checked me out as I walked inside. He was wearing an all black outfit. Black shoes, black slacks, and a black suit with one button.

And I just know he doesn't have any undershirt because of the amount of chest that's showing oh my god. And it's not helping that his hair is slicked back with some strand falling on his forehead.

"Hi." He said as his hand slid from my waist to my back before he pulled me close.

"Hi." I placed my hands on his chest.

He showed something on his left and I was surprised when I saw the bouquet of red tulips on his left hand wrapped in black. I didn't even notice it kanina.

"For me?" Umatras ako ng kaunti at kinuha iyon sa kamay niya. "It's so pretty. Thank you."

When I looked back at him, he held my chin and gave me a kiss. "I love you."
