"Yes Pres! Ready na sila and na-orient na rin sila for tomorrow's big event"
"Good good. You should eat first before continuing your stuffs"
"Thanks Pres!"
"You're welcome" I smiled at Rina's group. They looked exhausted yet I'm very thankful because of their hard works. It's not easy to follow up everyone kaya. It is really tiring and idagdag mo pa yung mainit na panahon ngayon. Hindi naman summer pero ang init init talaga.
I continued my desk work. Yeah, desk work not field work. But kahit na desk work lang ito, nakakapagod, nakakapressure. You need to look each sides. You need to think outside the box. You need to be creative. OA na siguro kung sasabihin kong pasan ko ang buong mundo.
Napatingin ako sa mga bagong dating, pawis na pawis. I stood up and gave them some cold mineral waters. They all smiled to me.
"Je, kumusta ang technical team? Okay na ba ang mga music para bukas?"
"Okay naman Pres. Nafollow-up na rin namin 'yung Socio-Cultural Head and their committee to follow up na rin 'yung order and flow ng program for tomorrow"
I couldn't help myself from smiling. Nakakatuwa that they are really doing their work and they have the initiative kung ano ba ang pwedeng gawin hindi na kailangan ng order fro me. Kahit na they all looked tired, stressed, gusto nang matapos ito, gusto nang umuwi, gulong-gulo ang mga buhok, pawisan, in short sabog, they all managed to smile and be so carefree. Kaya I'm so thankful to have them in my team.
After giving them their mineral water I gave them a quick hug. They all looked surprise pero ginantihan rin naman nila 'yung yakap ko.
"Ang sweet naman ni Pres, sali kami!" rinig kong sabi ni Rina na prenteng nakaupo sa maliit na sofa ng office. Bigla na lang dumami ang kayakap ko because Rina's group joined. We motivated each other na it will be successful at matatapos na rin ang stress namin and we will have our team building.
Hindi pa rin umaalis. We stayed in this position. Narinig namin ang biglang pagbukas ng pinto dahilan para mapatingin ang iba sa kung sino ang dumating.
"Uy! Sali niyo naman ako!"
"Tabi ka kay Pres, Lloyd. Yiee!"
Napailing na lang ako. They are shipping the two of us again.
Naramdaman ko na may sumiksik sa may tabi ko. I looked at him and he smiled. 'Yung ngiting nakakatunaw. Shems. Kailagan ko ng lamesa kasi feeling ko anytime babagsak na ako sa ngiti niya. Nakakatunaw ng heart.
Heart nandyan ka pa ba? Kumusta ka naman?
He looked fresh. I'm jealous. Nasa malamig na office ako nakatambay for the whole morning at siya naman nasa labas (field work) pero bat mas mukha pa siyang fresh kesa sa akin? His brown hair was combed perfectly, his deep black eyes are looking at me intently, his scent - how I love his scent and those little dimples on his face.
