Dalawa lang ang masasabi ko, sobrang init! Pinapaypayan ko ang sarili gamit 'yung invitation na binigay sa amin kanina. Unti-unti nang nagsidatingan ang mga delegates. We distribute ourselves. 'Yung iba nasa bleachers, 'yung iba naman nasa main gate, nasa technical room, chinecheck ng iba ang field and kahit ano pa.
I'm with Jess, Mark and Kacy. Dito sa gate ng gym kami nakaabang sa mga darating. Dapat kasama si Lloyd na nagbabantay dito kaso magpe-perform pala sila mamaya sa opening program slash orientation.
Ngiti dito, ngiti doon, you need to be accommodating and pleasing to everybody especially to the guests. It's 9:48 in the morning and we are standing since 8am. After the short briefing with Sir Asa, our SC adviser, he told us to distribute ourselves and start working because other guests may arrived early than what we expected so better yet, we should ready ourselves.
Puro 'good morning', 'welcome', 'enjoy' ang sinasabi namin and we usher them in the bleachers. Di na rin namin napakinabangan ang jingle na ginawa because of the limited time na pagpractice, mahirap na baka magkalabasa kami at mapahiya.
I can't even imagine that scenario
Nakarinig kami ng ingay. It is some kind of cheering. Napatingin kami sa group of people na paparating. They have a big drum and cheerleaders. May hawak silang tarpaulin and balloons. Prepared na prepared.
I smiled and wave at them. It's our university. I gave them my goodluck wishes for their games.
They are wearing clothes with navy color, our school's color. Some are in their jerseys and some wore their varsity jacket and others wore a simple t-shirt with a print on it.
I am busy greeting them 'nung may naramdaman akong biglang yumakap sa akin. I looked surprised pero niyakap ko rin sila pabalik.
It's none other than Twinkle and Ayen.
I missed these two!
"Holy shiz Trice! I missed you! Tagal natin wala nagkita"
"As far as I remember, kahapon lang tayo wala nagkita"
"Ay kahapon lang ba? Akala ko mga 1 year na"
I giggled. Because we are so busy yesterday, wala na kaming time to meet up. They are busy with their trainings then ako busy para sa event na 'to.
"Sige lang. After ng event na 'to balik na tayo sa dati. Just like the 'ol times" I said to them
"Yeah right. Hindi ko naman gusto na sumali sa dance sport in the first place kaso wala eh, I'm their only choice" said Twinkle and laughed like she had an inside joke. Kami naman ni Ayen nagpaypay gamit ang mga kamay dahil ang lakas ng hangin.
Ang hangin talaga.
"Me too. Kulang na kasi ng player ang athletics because Jin had an injury during their practice and because I got the highest during our track n field in PE, they recruited me. Wala ako masabi kundi oo"
