Any spelling errors let me know please, thank you!"Are you sure you don't want to stay at the HQ?" Bruce looks at Natasha as he puts the last bag of her newly bought clothes into the car. Natasha has recovered enough to finally leave her bed, the first thing she wanted to do was to leave that dumb medical bay and buy some new clothes. Her and Bruce went shopping for a few hours, as soon as that was over Bruce finally told Natasha about his current living arrangements with Pepper and Morgan. Morgan was back after he cabin with Happy who's been watching her off and on along with Bruce. "If you do then we need to go here soon, I don't want Pepper to think I abandoned Morgan." He chuckles.
Natasha nods, getting in slash look at the HQ, "I like what you guys did with the place. I'm kinda sad to leave, but the Cabin sounds really nice." She looks at Bruce.
Bruce nods, "it's really enjoyable. I bet Pepper won't mind you being there, you can just share a bed with me and you don't eat like Thor or anything."
Natasha moves to peck him on the lips, "on my good days." She grins before getting into the passager side of the car. Bruce quickly helped her get settle, making sure she was comfortable. He handed her an ice pack he packed for her before going tot he drivers side.
"Just wait until you see Morgan." He smiles as he starts up the car, "she really has grown."
Natasha smiles brightly at the thought of seeing the little Stark again, "how much is she like her father?"
"You'll have to see that for yourself." Bruce replies, moving one hand to take hers and gently fondle with her fingers. Natasha held his hand as she looked out the window, enjoying the nice scenery, it definitely felt more lively than she remembered. Cars finally filled the roads, flocks of birds flew across the sky. It was all amazing to whiteness for the first time in years. Natasha looked over at Bruce as he focused on the room, but his hand was still intwined with hers.
"So, What are we?" Natasha breaks the long silence. "Friends with benefits? A couple? I mean, we did Kinda sleep together..." she mutters the last part.
Bruce thinks for a moment, "that's true... I don't know how the Hulk didn't come out."
"We took it slow, that's why. And maybe for once he wanted you to have this time, maybe he knew that you were needed more than then. Plus, don't you have more control now?" She questions.
Bruce nods, "I do. I guess some do that is true then. For now I'll just enjoy that amazing moment we had, who knows if we'll be able to do it again."
Natasha couldn't agree more, "you should. Maybe we could enjoy it some more later down the road." She grins a little.
"I would like that." Bruce smiles at her then looks back at the road. "I would also like to call you mine, that's pretty enjoyable."
Natasha grins, "you can call me yours all you want as long as you stay mine."
"Are you asking me to be your boyfriend Ms. Romanoff? I thought love was for children." Bruce teases.
"You were asking first technically, you're also the one who ran away." She grins at him.
"Let's not discuss that. That was a regrettable mistake, two years as the Hulk doesn't do you any good." Bruce shakes his head, "but spending the rest of my life with you wouldn't be too bad."
"Oh dork." Natasha grins as she gives his hand another gentle squeeze, "you're something else, you know that?"
Bruce nods, "oh I know. The ladies tell me all the time." He jokes as she continues to drive. Soon they arrive at the cabin.
"Oh yeah, I bet they do. Dork." Once they were parked she moves to kiss him lovingly on the lips.
Bruce smiles and kisses back just as lovingly as he turns off the car. Eventually they parted and Bruce looked at the cabin. "Stay low profile for now. You can follow me in but keep your distance and don't let the girls see you. Pepper will have a full on break down, I can feel it." He tells her as he got out of the car. He went to get her bag of clothes and help her out of the car.
Natasha takes the bag from him, "got it. How are they Anyways?" She questions as they walk towards the front door.
"They're pretty well, Pepper is still grieving." Bruce tells her. "Set your bag there for now, we'll come back to get it." He tells her. Natasha did what he told and set the bag down by the door. Once that was done, Bruce stepped inside to look around for the others, "hello?" He calls out. Natasha waited a bit to come in after him, exactly he had commanded.
"Uncle Bruce!" Morgan squeals as she runs over to Bruce to greet him. "You're back!" She squeals as she hugs him.
"Hey little thing!" Bruce hugs her as he picked her up. "I missed you. How is your mom doing?" He looks over at the kitchen as he heard some clutter going on in there.
"She's good." Morgan smiles, "she was a little sad a few minutes ago but I gave her one of my PopTarts. She likes those." She smiles innocently. She then spots Natasha and squeals. "Auntie Nat!!!" She tries to get out of Bruce's arms.
"Wait no, Morgan! Shh! Don't tell your mom." Bruce set her down so she can see Natasha.
Natasha smiles softly at Morgan, "Hey there. I missed you." She opens her arms for a hug. Morgan quickly hugs her, Natasha doesn't hesitate to hug her back.
"Bruce? Is that you?" Pepper questions as she walks out of the kitchen.
"Huh, Yes!" He motions for Natasha to hide quickly before shutting the door. He looks at Pepper and smiles, "It's nice to see you back home." He randomly blurts out.
Pepper raised a brow at this, "oh, okay. Where did Morgan run off to?" She looks around.
"I'm not sure, she said hi to me then ran off. Maybe up to her room?" He suggests.
"Maybe." She walks off upstairs to find where Morgan went. Bruce sighs in relief then steps outside. He looks for where Natasha was but couldn't find her in the porch.
"Oh no." He started to panic, "Natasha?" He runs off of the porch and looks around. "Natasha!" He calls out again. He continued to look around for her, "Morgan!" He calls out for the little girl. Bruce eventually found them o er by the two gravestones. "Oh no." He mutters as he goes over to them.
Natasha looked at both of them quietly, especially Tony's. "Tony died?" She looks at Bruce in shock as she hugs Morgan close. Morgan had some tears running down her cheeks.
Bruce frowns at this image, "Yeah... he did." He goes to take Morgan from Natasha, but Natasha does allow him. She moves away from him.
"That's not right." She shakes her head as she looks down, paying her respects. Bruce nods.
"Honestly, I couldn't agree with you more. It sucked. Just wanting him die like that. There was nothing we could do."
"What did he do?" She studies Bruce as she rubbed Morgan's back.
"He used the stones and snapped, like Thanks. But instead of vanishing the good guys, it vanished the bad guys. Including Thanos. I was so relived when it occurred. I watched it, but when I realized how it even happened, I just lost it. I lost two amazing people then... It sucked. But how, I have one of them back. I just wish Tony could come back too."
Natasha looks at the grave again. Tony did annoy her often, but never did she once wish for this to happen to him. Her eyes started to water a little, which was rare. The red head just couldn't control herself. She continued to hold Morgan as a few tears ran down her cheeks. Bruce moves to Natasha's side, wrapping an arm around her and rubbing her bruised side as he pays his respects. The three just sit in silence and tears as they look at the headstone. Natasha just didn't feel at ease, Tony had a family, a wife, a daughter, a team. He deserved to live his life again more than see did. A few tears slipped off of her cheeks and down onto the ground as the three continue to sit in silence.
