"Tony?!" Bruce looks at the figure once they were more recognizable.
"Yeah that's me? Why do you guys act like you just saw a ghost?" He questions cluelessly. "It's just me."
"We know that, but, but you're supposed to be dead!" Bruce exclaims. Tony looked at Bruce like he was talking in a completely different language. Why was his buddy acting so weird? Natasha didn't trust Tony at all. She sensed that this was a possible trap and stepped back from Tony.
Morgan just looks at her father, "daddy!" She reaches out her arms for him. "Where did you go?"
Tony smiles and goes to take her, "What do you mean? I've been here the whole time, where did yo-"
Natasha pulls Morgan away from him, "Tony, you're not supposed to be here. You have a gravestone and everything."
Bruce nods, "you were cremated anyways, how is your body all in one piece?" Then a light bulb went off, "that... that girl!"
"What girl?" Tony And Natasha both Pool at Bruce like he was crazy. Morgan didn't care about what was going on, all she cared about was that her father gave her a hug.
"This girl, remember?" He looks at Natasha, "Me, Sam and Strange went back in time to find what brought you here. What we found was this girl messing with the time! Since the past was manipulated, the present was changed a bit to keep the future the same."
"I'm confused..." Tony stumbled a little, clearly weaking by the second.
Bruce notched this and quickly went to Tony, "you need to get inside. We have to figure this out, I can't beat around the bush anymore. Something is going on and it may be a danger!"
Natasha sighs, "I can never get a break... My head already hurts from thinking about it."
"Lets go to the HQ, Morgan has to come or she'll tell Pepper. Pepper can not know about this yet." Bruce explains.
"What? Why not?" Tony glares at Bruce, "she's my wife, she deser-" Tony collapses over, Natasha's eyes widen.
"Tony?!" She sets Morgan down so she can check him over, "he's out cold." She looks at Bruce.
Bruce looks at Morgan then at Tony. He turns to look at the cabin and sighs, "I- I don't know... Pepper could kick us all out right on spot."
Natasha thinks for a moment, "if she flips out, she flips out. Let her do whatever Bruce, Tony needs help. The HQ is too long of a drive for him. Just call Strange here after we get Tony settled." She demands.
Bruce nods, "okay okay, you get Morgan inside to Pepper and distract her while I get Tony inside."
Natasha nods, "come on little Morgan." She holds the little girl and carries her inside. Morgan whined a little, looking back at her unconscious father.
"Is daddy dead again?" She asks cluelessly. Natasha frowns, 'again she hated that Morgan was thinking that way. A little girl her age shouldn't be fatherless. The closest thing Natasha had to a father was Ivan Petrovich, But even he didn't really fill in the gap too well.
"No, he's just asleep. He needs our help, he's very sick. But you can't tell your mother okay?" Natasha walks inside of the cabin with Morgan who now had teary eyes.
"Why?" Morgan asks, "she would be happy to see daddy."
"I know, I know she will. But it's a surprise, keep the secret okay?" Natasha sets her down once they were inside. "Lets go find your mommy, I think she'll want you to go to bed now." Natasha leads her off, looking back to see if Bruce came in side yet. She looked and saw the door starting to own. She quickly goes up stairs with Morgan and finds Pepper in the bathroom getting Morgan's bath ready.
"Morgan?" Pepper Calle out and goes to walk out do the bathroom. "Oh, Natasha. Thank you." She goes to take Morgan's hand. "Where was she?"
"She was outside." Natasha replies, "we were playing until she got scared of the sunset. She's not a fan of the dark as I could tell."
Pepper nods, "Yeah, she doesn't like sunsets all that much. It's her bedtime anyways, I'll get her washed off. Will you and Bruce be okay with sharing a bed?"
Natasha nods, "that works for us. Thank you." She goes to leave the room.
Pepper opened her mouth to say something but stopped herself, shaking her head and just focusing on bathing her little girl. Natasha headed downstairs to find where Bruce went. Eventually she found him in the living room settling Tony on the couch. "Oh yeah, she definitely won't see that." Natasha speaks sarcastically as she goes to him, she studies Tony quietly. "Did you call Strange."
Bruce nods, "yeah, I did. He didn't have a long time to talk and I didn't ask for him to come over, just in case Pepper saw him. I told him about my theory though, he said he'll look into it." Bruce explains. "For now we need to keep an eye on him and possibly talk to Pepper about it."
Natasha nods and goes to sit down on the other couch, "okay, that sounds good to me. I bet we could figure this thing out, we just need a suspect. Do you remember how the girl looked?"
Bruce went to get her some ice before answering her question. He comes back, grabs a blanket and sits with her. "Well... I didn't get a good look honestly. At first I thought it was you because of her red hair." Bruce covers Natasha up and places an ice pack on her side before kisses her cheek.
Natasha smiles softly at Bruce as she pulled him closer to him so they can snuggle. "Oh really? Well... that's something I guess. Maybe Strange got a better look? Or even Sam?" She suggest.
"I don't think so, but it won't hurt to ask. Strange probably didn't or he would have had this thing figured out already." Bruce replies.
Natasha thought for a moment, she couldn't add anything since she didn't see it for herself. "Could he take us back to see the vision?"
"I bet he could. I'll ask him tomorrow if he can. You can come and this time we will need to get a closer look."
Natasha nods, "that sounds like a plan, but what about Tony? Who will watch him?"
"I'll talk to Pepper tomorrow, I'll try to talk her into not kicking us out and watching Tony for a little." He chuckles
Natasha grins, "maybe I'll have to do that one, I'm pretty good with my words."
Bruce moves a little, "You're pretty good with your mouth honestly."
Natasha grins, "oh I know. You love it."
"Of course." He moves to kiss her gently. Natasha kisses back just as gently, moving her lips in sync with his. Bruce rubbed her side as they kissed. Eventually they had to part for air, Natasha took this small break to bring up with a small grin.
"What if I was really pregnant? I would be the worst mother honestly." Natasha laughs a little.
Bruce shakes his head, "you with Morgan seems pretty natural really. I think you would be a good mom. You would have a good patience after dealing with us for many years that's for sure."
Natasha smiles, "really? You think so?" She studies his facial expression. Bruce just nods and moves to kiss her again.
"You would be the best." He mutters between kisses, "I know you would."
