Enjoy! I tried to make this one a little longer, What do you think?
"So tell me again why Nat didn't want to tell me about her pregnancy?" Tony sits in the waiting room along with Bruce who was pacing back in forth. Natasha was currently in a check up with a doctor, hoping that they would figure out what was wrong. Bruce feared for the worse, but he had a small bit of hope that their baby would be okay.
Bruce looks at Tony, "I-I don't know..." he mumbles, "just please stop asking me." He continues to pace around. "She was just scared okay."
"Okay okay." Tony huffs, he watches Bruce for a bit. "God, you're making this thing worse. Just sit down."
"I'm sorry." He sighs as he sits down, his legs starting to shake. "God I hope they're okay... I can't lose them, I just can't!" He shouts, causing the other guests in the waiting room to glare in annoyance at him. Bruce didn't care about this though, he was just so panicked. He prayed that everything would be okay with his beautiful baby. He and Natasha finally had a chance to be parents, something they thought they would never be. But now, that was at risk. Bruce and Natasha could leave this hospital with the biggest amount of guilt possible on their shoulders. Maybe they didn't deserve this, maybe they didn't deserve to be parents. Maybe this was just the universe telling them that they were too messed up to raise a child.
Soon a nurse entered the room and looks around, "Mr. Banner?" She calls out for him. Bruce quickly stood up.
"That's me." He tells the nurse, "is she okay?!" He was full of panic and fear that something we terrible wrong.
"Come with me." The nurse tells him. Tony walks over and looks at the nurse, working if he was allowed to go. "Oh my gosh! Are you Tony Stark?!" Her eyes widen, "you're supposed to be dead!"
"So?" Tony grins with a shrugs, "now hurry up and take my buddy to his friend." He demands, "I would like to come along, I'll pay for any expenses."
"Wait what?" Bruce looks at Tony, "pay for everything? Are you sure?"
Tony nods, "of course I am, now let's go. I want to know if my godchild is okay."
The nurse quickly led them to Natasha's room, not bothering to say other word to the two. "Who says they're your godchild?" Bruce looks at him.
"Because." Tony continues to walk, "I'll pay for everything, all their birthday parties, their first car, their prom outfits and all of that. Even their college which I will force them to go to. They need that education."
Bruce just shook his head as he continues to walk, "lets just focus on bringing them into this world. God I hope the baby is okay..." he mutters. Soon they arrived at the room and the nurse led them in.
"Here they are." The nurse informs the doctor who was busy talking to Natasha. Natasha looks at Bruce with teary eyes. Bruce paled, looking at Natasha with worry. He expected the worst.
"Natasha?" He walks over to her and takes her hand. The doctor looked at Bruce.
"Oh hello, I just finished checking her over and everything seems to be fine to me." He shrugs as he goes to fill out some paper work the nurse handed him.
"Wait, What? But she was fatigued... I saw her collapsed on the floor." Bruce looks at the doctor, there had to be something that they were missing.
"I've prescribed her some safe medication to take for a few weeks during this pregnancy to help make sure things are moving along smoothly." He tells Bruce, "But overall there's nothing to be too worried about. The baby is healthy."
Natasha looks at that doctor, "could print some ultrasound pictures for my fiancé? Please." She questions.
"Ultrasound?! You did another without me?" Bruce whines.
