Some people don't get to choose their last words, so maybe I was lucky for that. It might sound like something a character in a cheesy action movie would say, but those were the last words I said before the gun went off.
I honestly thought he wouldn't do it. The fat sack of lard had always been all bark no bite. Maybe he actually did have some balls hiding under all that fat.
I wasn't kidding when I said I'd see him in hell. I knew I was a sinner, even though I was nowhere near as bad as him. I didn't mind waiting. If some pissed off husband didn't shoot him, then a heart attack would surely do him in.
I'd love to see the look on his face when he came to the gates of hell, only to find me waiting for him. I didn't care how long I had to wait for that day. Everyone had an expiration date.
All I had to do was wait for the Grim Reaper to deliver him to me.
