Dressed in a dress not even big enough to scrub the floors with (pictured below), Alastor's town car drove me to Fred's apartment. Alastor followed close behind, keeping an eye out for any danger. Jordan was set to join him once Alastor arrived at the apartment.
My stomach was in knots as I watched the passing scenery. I had wanted to do this for as long as I could remember, but now that my goal was within reach my anxiety flared its ugly head. Could I honestly drug and kidnap a man to make an example out of him?
Shaking my head, I took a deep breath. This was Hell, no one would bat an eye if a man wound up in bits on the sidewalk. I closed my eyes and took several more breaths to compose myself. I had a job to do.
The town car pulled up to Fred's apartment building. I looked up at the lit-up windows and steeled myself as I opened the door.
This is what I had waited for. Time to bring that bastard down.
