Alastor ushered me into his town car, a sleek expensive thing that looked like it cost more than I earned in a year. The inside was just as fancy, with sleek black leather interior and a stocked minibar. To be honest, it took my mind off of what we were about to do for a moment.
"Our target will be one of his girls at a night club on the corner of 5th and Main." Alastor said, leaning back in his seat, "Your job is to look enticing while I do the rest."
"Why do you get to do all the talking?" I asked, eyes snapping from the scene outside to Alastor, "This is my revenge plan after all."
"A brutish pig like him isn't going to listen to a woman," Alastor replied, "Let me put you in his way and then we can take him out."
As much as I wanted to argue with him, he was right. Fred was a sexist asshole who thought women couldn't make a decision outside of what shoes to wear. I could wait as long as it took to make that smug bastard pay.
The ride was shorter than I thought it would take. Alastor turned to me with a grin as he offered his hand, "Ready? It's showtime."
