A/n: Yeah... I've been up all night drawing chibi versions of the characters of this book... I really need a life.

ISA'S POV
"Are you guys sure it's a good idea?" Leorio asked, eyeing the buses that were supposedly taking people to the exam site.
"Yeah." Gon replied simply. "The captain said to head straight to the pine tree at the top of the mountain." I added.
Kurapika, who didn't need to be told twice, started walking along the dirt road with my cousin and I while Leorio fell behind.
Gon looked back at the tall man with a worried look. "I hope he won't get lost..."
I chuckled. "He won't."
The two boys looked at me with questioning looks to which I answered: "We're the only familiar faces he has so far. It's only a matter of time before he comes running back."
Gon seemed still a little unsure but all doubts were tossed aside when we heard Leorio yell: "GUYS! WAIT FOR ME!"
We all turned around and giggled.
As I watched him run towards us, I caught a glimpse of tan man with dark hair hiding behind a building nearby and eavesdropping on us. When he realized I saw him, he quickly hid behind said building. I raised a brow, unimpressed.
He's awfully bad at concealing his presence.
I looked at Gon, who had clearly seen him too. We shrugged it off and walked towards our given destination.
"How did you know?" Kurapika asked me with a hint of curiosity. "How did you know he was going to run back to us?"
"What? Who was going to run back to us?" Leorio asked dumbfounded.
I ignored him and shrugged. "It was a simple deduction. He was caught in a situation where he either had to follow people he knew to an unknown destination or people he didn't know to a different unknown destination. The unknown is a fear all humans have to a certain degree. It was clear that he was going to choose the option in which he was the most comfortable, therefore, following us."
Kurapika seemed amazed by my analogy. I blushed slightly. "I-I just learn how to predict human behavior from all the criminology books I read..." I said while uncomfortably scratching the back of my head.
"I'll assume you read a lot." The blonde boy said, smirking. I frowned.
Subtly calling me a boorkworm, I see...
Gon instantly nodded. "She already stayed up two nights in a row to finish a series of books."
NOT HELPING, GON!
And we continued talking about ourselves and asking questions to know one another better on the way, considering we had nothing better to do and we might be stuck together for a while.
"I'm Gon Freecss." My cousin introduced himself, already eager to make new friends. I shook my head. "I'm twelve years old."
Kurapika nodded. "What kind of hunter do you want to be?"
Gon's eyes widened. He quickly glanced at me for help. "I-it's private!" I blurted out. Kurapika frowned. "I understand. We all have our motivations."
You're afraid that if other people know you don't know what kind of hunter you want to be, they'll assume you're not committed and won't take you seriously, Gon, aren't you?
I gave him a sympathetic smile.
"What's your name?" Leorio asked shifting his attention to me.
