I am with my family on a trip through Italy, everything is so beautiful, I feel like I could live here. Our final stop on our trip was a small town called Volterra, it was such an amazing site. We were walking thought the streets when we saw an advertisement for a tour of the huge castle at the top of the hill, and it started in 10 minutes.
"I think this looks like a great idea!" my mom says, grabbing a flyer.
"Amelia what do you think?" she asks me and I grab it, it kind of looks sketchy, the flyer says you have to leave all of our things at the entrance and it just looks like a boring old castle
"I don't know it looks kind of boring" I reply, handing the flyer back to her
"Oh come on, we have to" she starts leading me and my family of five to the castle and we get there right on time. A woman takes all of our things from us and puts them in a locker for us to get at the end of the tour. Another woman with beautiful blonde hair and an almost too perfect face leads us on the tour.
"I am Jane, I will be leading your tour today". I watch the way she moves and it is almost too perfect, it kind of makes me uncomfortable but I decide to ignore it. The castle is honestly really beautiful, I'm in awe of this place
"Imagine living here" my sister whispers to me. I imagine it for a moment and it would be glorious. It's been about 30 minutes now and then we head down an elevator.
"Now we will be heading down to what used to be known as the kings chamber thousands of years ago" she has a weird smirk on her face but I don't think much of it. We get out of the elevator and there is a long hallway with giant doors at the end.
"Stay close together everyone" she says right as she's opening the door. We all walk in and immediately I freeze, there are dozens of other people in there, wearing all black and with faces extremely pale. Suddenly they all run towards each person on the tour and I am shocked by what I see, they are biting their necks!
"Mom!" I yell when I see a man with piercing red eyes and perfect blond hair bite her neck and she falls to the floor. I'm looking around for the rest of my family when I feel arms grab me from behind, I scream and the man whips me around. He is tall, has extremely pale skin, crimson red eyes, and hair longer than mine, its perfectly layed down his sides and is a raven black.
"Hello young one" he says with a devilish smile. He leans in like he is going to bite me like the others did my family and then he freezes and pulls away and just looks at me confused.
"Please don't hurt me" I say as tears are streaming down my face and he puts his hand in the air which I'm guessing signals all the other "people" in the room to stop because they all stop and the people they were biting all drop to the floor, I look around and I am the only tourist alive. I stand there shaking as the man stares at me.
"Brothers and sisters, it appears after 3 thousand years, I have finally found my mate" he smiles at me and all of the other people in black cheer and walk up to me.
"Back up, give il mio amore some space". I am just frozen and have a look of shock on my face.
"Wh- what is going on" I look at the man with raven hair in front of me, terrified. He takes my hand and closes his eyes. I jump because his hands are freezing.
"You've had quite a boring life haven't you" he chuckles
"Well that is all about to change" the others laugh.
"P-please tell me whats going on" I start to cry a bit more.
He smiles "I am Aro, I am your mate, what is your name principessa?" he strokes my hair and I lean away from his hand
"Amelia" I say quietly.
"Ahh Amelia! It is so wonderful to finally meet you" he puts his cold hands on my cheeks and gets a good look at my face.
"You are quite lovely, I am so happy to finally have you"
He turns to the others "leave us!" he demands and all of the others immediately leave, leaving us alone in the room with all of the bodies on the floor.
