"So..." I smirked at Icen. "You finally found your match, huh?"

Icen wholeheartedly made simangot at me. Padabog na ibinaba n'ya ang lunchbox ko sa lamesa between us then padabog din s'yang umupo sa tapat ko.

"What's wrong with her? She's kind of pretty naman." I teased some before before digging in to my lunch bag.

I am still in my recovery stage so I have to be careful in my food intake. Palagi akong may baon to make sure na I am eating only healthy foods.

I am back to studying, and I was enrolled in a university where Icen is the acting director. I am older than my classmates and I am somewhat infamous for being a real bitch and a whore. Boys were hitting on me, and much to my dislike, I have to ask for Icen's help. I wanted a peaceful remaining college days. Icen made things possible for me to skip classes if I feel like doing so. I am free to self-study wherever I want, as long as I'm inside the campus. And I am almost always on Icen's office.

Now, I owe this asshat a huge debt. And he's naniningil na.

We've been going out for lunch to be purposely seen in public. He's giving me flowers and gifts on my classrooms kapag may exam. I'm required to take exam kasi simultaneously with my classmates. He wants to let the public know that we're dating.

Dad doesn't like that. I don't know how it reached him, but he just went home one day and scolded me for dating a known playboy. I can always tell them that it was just for a show, but I kind of miss messing around him and Mom. I've been too behaved for months now, kaya baka miss na din nila ang sakit ng ulo.

Icen had a sex with a virgin woman. He said it was an accident. Hindi n'ya sadya. Recently, he's claiming that it was planned. Wala akong pakielam sa sinasabi n'ya. I am helping him to call everything quits.

His problem now is that that woman is obsessing on him. And he wants me to be his 'serious' girlfriend para ipagtabuyan ang babae.

I found his idea ridiculous. If he's claiming that the woman planned to lose his virginity to him, she's insane and cunning. What if she believed that the jerk is in love with me, and she try to eliminate me? Hindi ako namatay sa cancer, pero baka mapatay naman ako ng scorned woman.

"She's crazy, Selene!" Icen hissed.

"Try to know her better. Or to talk to her properly." I suggested after placing all my food containers in front of me.

Icen raised his hand for his orders. I checked the place while he do so. Napangiti ako nang makita na may maliit na stage for performers.

We're in a bistro a little far from the campus. It's my first time here, and I can say that I'd like to be back here. The vibe was laidback and chill.

It's only eleven in the morning. I think we're the first customers for today. Parang kakabukas pa lang kasi.

"The place is nice." I commented.

"Yeah. Ae and I are regulars here. Kaklase ko ang may-ari kaya kapag lasing na lasing kami, dito kami madalas magpalipas ng tama. Madalas na din kaming nakakatulog dito." Icen smirked. "Sarap ng kape nila dito." Pagbibida n'ya pa.

Now that he's not trying to fuck me and is acting less of an asshole, Icen is a good friend. Nakakalibang s'yang kausap and he got a good sense of humor.

"You know, Ice, I can't help but think of someone whenever you're smiling like that. Carefree, genuine, with a touch of awe and innocence." I said. Nangalumbaba ako habang titig na titig sa kanya.
