21| Anger Dwells Only In The Bosom Of Fools

I busied myself watching Selene taking pictures. We're here in an Italian restaurant in White Beach.

"I'm excited!" Selene giggled after setting her phone down on the table.

"Bakit naman?" I raised a brow on her.

"This will be my first time to eat lobster!" Selene enthusiastically said then clapped her hands.

I chuckled. Childish.

From Romblon, we stayed a day in Batangas before we decided to visit Puerto Galera. We spent the day with Selene's shopping spree, and I think she's more than satisfied with her new set of clothes.

We arrived at two in the afternoon in the Balatero Port. May sumundo sa amin na service ng mountain resort na na-book namin online. After filling up some forms, nagpahinga na muna kami sa silid namin bago nagpasya na bumaba dito sa White Beach para maghapunan. Selene chose this flashy Italian restaurant for being 'instagramable'

Our wine and appetizers were served. We were left in our table after we thanked the server.

"None of my family could appreciate this." Selene giggled after grimacing at the complimentary bread.

Kumuha ako ng isa sa plato at tinikman ang libreng pagkain na inismiran ni Selene. Mukhang na-disappoint na agad s'ya.

"Masarap naman a." Pinunasan ko ang bibig ko at inabot ang wine ko. "Other people would have to save up lots of money before they could afford luxury like this."

Selene shrugged. She sipped on her own glass. "At least this is satisfying." She smirked.

"Na-enjoy mo ba 'yong Romblon?" I gently asked to change the topic.

"Yeah. The kids are fun. Innocent and gullible." Selene giggled then scrolled through her phone. She showed me a picture of me, circumcising some kids. "I like this part best."

"Because you saw lots of willies?" I smirked.

Selene rolled her eyes. "Yours is the only one I would love to see."

I chuckled. "How about the vacation part?"

She nodded. "I love the cliff jump. And the boat tour around the island. Enjoy din pala kahit small fishing boat lang and not a yacht or at least speed boat."

I chuckled. She's really a typical rich man's daughter.

"And of course, the outdoor sex!"

Halos masamid ako sa iniinom ko.

"You!" My eyes widened. Pero sa huli ay natawa na lang din.

This crazy girl managed to convince me to do it against a huge rock. And inside an underground cave!

We talked about our experiences in the beautiful Carabao Island. My favorite part was the coconut tree plantation. The place offered a great view of Boracay. It was a peaceful place, that even my restless baby was contented to calmly appreciate the beauty of everything around us. And she even sang me a song. And I love the sunset. I wrapped my arms around Selene while watching the sun slowly descending its magnificent power behind the sea horizon.

Mang Lucio, one of the farmers, was kind enough to take a picture of that moment. I immediately made it my wallpaper. It was a beautiful image of burst of colors, and the center was mine and Selene's silhouette. Napakagandang larawan ng pag-aagaw ng gabi at araw.

We're almost done with our wine when our dinner was served. Much to Selene's disappointment.

"Madaming customers." I chuckled at Selene's pout. "I thought you're excited on your first lobster?"
