The car ride was silent. I just sat the entire time looking out the window trying to memorise places in case I found another opportunity to escape. Once the forest started to get less thick, I could start to see signs of other human life, random houses dotted in places until it looked like we'd entered a town. if I wasn't told I was in a different realm, id still think we were back home. Everything looked so normal. People walking about their lives. They looked so normal. The shops even looked normal. They had coffee shops, high end fashion stores and is that....

A Mcdonalds? My mouth salivated just looking at it. But how could a realm full of magical creatures look so much like my realm. Romans voice chimed in obviously noticing the confusion on my face.

"We were originally settled in your realm but then people started to hunt us. Ever heard of the Salem witch trials? Granted they were novice witches. It takes a lot more to trap a real witch but the elders thought it best that we just stick to where we originally came from. We can be who we truly are here. Over the years, we would come back and forth and we came to like what your humans were inventing so we brought it to Fabula"

I scoffed at what he said, "Come and back forth to do what? Kidnap people and enslave them? why couldn't you have just kept your world to yourselves and left me and everyone else alone!"

"And what? Your kind is any better? you have been enslaving people for thousands of years. Besides I didn't kidnap you, I only bought you. Even if I wanted to send you home, I cant. Only Angels have the power to travel between realms and they're not exactly the nice beings they're made out to be. At least some of them anyway"

He went quiet after that and his face had a look to it like he was thinking about something. I just kept my mouth shut the rest of the way to our destination. Maybe his friends were Angels. That's a touchy subject for him and the mention of Angels completely changed his mood. I wonder who they were. The car ride was silent until we pulled into a car park that was filled with hundreds of other cars and in front of us was a massive shopping centre.

I go out of the car and looked up in awe. It was huge and looked so pristine. That's when I heard a click and my happy mood diminished.

"A leash? You're shitting me right? I am not a dog, take this off of me!" Roman smirked and just tugged on it a little hard to get me moving in a direction.

"You are my pet. You are required to wear a leash in public and since I can't trust whether or not you'll run again, I'm holding extra tight" I growled and followed behind him. As much as I hate it, I have to deal with it. Maybe he'll eventually loosen the reins and I can get another chance to bolt. I huffed behind him and made my way towards the shopping centre. I looked around and I started to notice things more.

There were people with different coloured hair, scaled covered arms. I saw one girl with pointy ears and is that an angel? It was a tall and bulky guy with a buzzcut. He looked normal until you noticed the gigantic gleaming white wings that were bringing him down to the ground. He landed not far from me and a gust of wind blew my hair out of place. That was incredible. If Angels exist, does that mean?....

"Hey does God actually exist?" Roman smirked and shook his head.

"Ah, the ultimate question that everyone wants the answer to. Yes he does exist but no he's not what you think. Yes Magic and celestial beings exist but so does science. The big bang as you humans call it did happen. But God came about millions of years after that happened" he stopped talking as we got to the door and someone interrupted.

"Welcome King Roman. If there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to ask" He nodded his thanks and we carried on walking in. "Anyway, God actually created this Realm. He had nothing to do with yours. He did plant the bible in your world though. He gets bored easily"
