A group had set out to the Exodus Ship crash site to scour the remains, Margaret and Clarke among them. The blonde walked amongst the ashes with a glum look on her face, the brunette however watched from a distance, not wanting to see any of the burnt corpses.

"Clarke shouldn't be out here."Finn commented from beside her, watching the Griffin girl intently. "Her mom was on the ship. She's looking for answers." Replied Margaret, looking at the boy, for some reason the grief hadn't hit her quite yet. She certainly wasn't in denial, but she was not nearly as distraught as Clarke, unable to explain why.

"You want to help her, find me the black box, hard drives, anything that will explain why this ship crashed."Shouted Raven, already looking through the scraps herself. Margaret wanted to help her but her feet wouldn't move from where she stood, fearing that her stomach contents might come up if she caught sight of the crash any closer.

"Clarke, stop!" She heard Raven shout, catching everybodie's attention, making the blonde freeze. "Rocket fuel?" She questioned, Raven finally joining her side. "Hydrazine... Highly unstable in its non solid form. If this stuff meets fire, we're all pink mist. We need to clear the area." The mechanic instructed now looking at Bellamy who nodded his head in response.

"Okay, then. We move in formation, no straggling, weapons hot. We got to get back before dark."The group began to leave, following the Blake's commands, but yet again, Margaret was frozen in place, staring at the chunks of metal scattered around the area. Why aren't I sad? She asked herself. My father's dead. Why aren't I a complete mess?

"Mags!" Shouted Bellamy over his shoulder, everybody was already on their way. Whipping her head around to the man, finally snapping out her her daze. "You coming?" With one last look at the destruction, she turned and joined the group, keeping her eye's glued to the ground.

The sun had set by the time that they had all returned to camp, Margaret walking beside's Finn the entire way. After the incident on the bridge, the two saw eye to eye and discovered that they had quite a lot in common. Where as a little bit of distance had grown between her friendship with Bellamy and Clarke, not too fond of their shoot first think later ideologies.

Entering through the large gate, they were immediately met with Nathan Miller, breathlessly informing them of news Margaret could never even dream of hearing.

"Murphy is back. He's in the drop ship"

Not waiting a single second, Margaret ran to the drop ship hurriedly ducking under the tarp. She stopped at the sight of the boy in front of her, her breath hitching in her throat. "J-John?" She could barely recognise him under all of the cuts and bruises, blood covering just about every inch of his body.

She was startled when Bellamy not too after came into the drop ship screaming; "Where is he? Everyone but Connor and Derek out... Now!"He was livid at the sight of him, obviously still blaming the boy for Charlotte's death.

Yet again, Margaret Kane had no idea how to react. Should she hate him? Pity him? Be thankful that he was back? "He claims he was with the Grounders."Said a boy from besides her, Margarets eye's softening. Her assumptions had been confirmed, he had been captured and quite obviously tortured."We caught him trying to sneak back into camp."

For the first time since arrival the shaking boy spoke up. "I wasn't sneaking. I was running from the Grounders." Closing her eyes at the sound of his voice, she could barely stand it. He sounded so afraid and defeated, of course he was telling the truth, but Bellamy was too blinded by his rage to try and reason. "Anyone see Grounders?" He asked, and when receiving no response he raised the rifle in his hand, pointing it at Murphy's head. The girl instinctively put herself between Murphy and the gun, rather shocked herself at her actions.
