All of the chaos had eventually died down. People were recovering at a steady rate and Jasper and Finn had successfully blown up the bridge. Now that Margaret had found some time to herself, she found herself sat outside the wall staring at Atoms grave with her chin resting on her knees. Two pairs of footsteps were heard from behind her but she didn't acknowledge them or look their way.

"You're outside of the wall without a gun." Spoke Bellamy from behind her. The two hadn't spoken since he had gotten better, neither knowing what exactly to say.

"Fourteen graves." Margaret said simply to them, still not moving her gaze. She had to repeatedly tell herself that she wasn't a murderer, that she was a good person, or at least she wanted to be. Because amidst another day on the ground, there would be moments where she would forget. Clarke Griffin stepped forward and crouched down beside her friend with a hand on her shoulder. "We need to talk about Murphy." She told her, glancing at the Blake boy behind them. Her statement made Margaret finally look away from the graves, furrowing her eyebrows. "I thought this wasn't up for discussion?" She mentioned, looking between the leaders who both sighed heavily.

"He was right about the bridge... He looked like he was really trying to help out in the drop ship earlier too." At Clarke's words, both girls looked over their shoulder to see how Bellamy would react, seeing the hesitation on his face, Margaret stood to her feet and faced the man. "One bad act shouldn't condemn a person for the rest of their life Bellamy... I can keep my eye on him, make sure he doesn't slip up, and if he does I guess that's on me too."

She wasn't exactly sure why she was so hell bent on having Murphy stay, she was uneasy now when she was close to him, and he wasn't the same boy she had first met on the ground, but he was still worth saving. Bellamy tore his gaze from Margaret and looked at Clarke who stood behind her. "So, what, we have pardon power now?"

"It's hard running things."

The entire camp had a strange feel to it. Everybody knew the bomb on the bridge had bought them some time, but the grounders were still coming. Margaret, along with Monty Green had been given the job of rationing nuts and edible plants, and the two got along quite well. They had made good progress by the afternoon, the smiles never leaving their faces as Monty would share funny stories of him and Jasper from back on the Ark.

Hearing of their adventures, Margaret did start to regret being so antisocial way back when, feeling as though she had missed out and didn't actually enjoy being a teenager. Perhaps the ground was a new start, maybe she could be somebody else. She didn't have much time to dwell anyhow, as an eruption of flames in the distances caught everybodie's attention. Rushing to the scene immediately, Margaret looked on at the building that had been set a light, seeing Octavia, Murphy and another boy rush out of the hut coughing erratically.

"Hey, are you guys okay? What the hell happened?" Margaret asked worriedly, standing between Murphy and Octavia, a hand on each of their arms. The younger girl, coughed and nodded her head but Murphy didn't even spare her a look. Rushing over the the other boy and pushing him harshly. Margaret tried to grab him and tell him to leave it, but he only shrugged her off before yelling at the kid; "This is all your fault! We told you it was too much wood." Before the situation could escalate however, Bellamy grabbed Murphy, calming him down. Everybody grew silent, looking at one another breathing heavily, some teenagers rushed to fire but most of them stood around watching. It was Octavia to break the silence, asking what was most likely on everybodie's minds.

"Well, now what the hell are we gonna do? That was all the food."

After the fire had successfully been controlled the delinquents were told that they now had to all go hunting for food. Everybody was pairing off, leaving Margaret to stand still, glazing over the faces of her her peers for a partner. Spotting blonde hair, Margaret rushed to her side immediately. "Hey, you uh- got a partner yet?" She asked nervously before rambling. "It's totally cool if you do, but I thought you know that you could use a tracker or something and I-" Clarke's chuckling made her stop talking and bite her lip in embarrassment. "Myles and I are going out together, but you're more than welcome to join." Letting out a relieved breathe, Margaret went to go and gather a few things but was stopped by a gentle hand grabbing onto her upper arm.
