Raven and Margaret had managed to move their radio and camera out of the tent so all of the delinquents could watch Jaha's unity day speech. She had done a lot of thinking the past few days, and was feeling a lot happier than she had been for a while. She had a friend in Clarke, and was now a lot more social, becoming Ravens so called 'apprentice' as well  getting to know Bellamy a lot more too. It might only be three people that she will willingly talk to, but that is thrice the amount that she had even been comfortable with before.

A large group stood around listening to the chancellor, Maggie included who listened intently. She wasn't the biggest fan of unity day, not really liking the message behind it or the partying that accompanied the celebration. Clarke had joined her midway through the speech seeing the look on her face. "Don't tell me you don't like Unity Day." The blonde questioned humorously, already knowing the answer.

"Unity Day is a lie. The Ark only came together after the thirteenth station was blown out of the sky. Just not the version of history we like to tell each other at parties." The two had broken off from the group amidst their conversation. "The Unity Day story gives people hope, though, and peace came out of that violence." Clarke explained always being the optimist. "Yeah, but did there need to be violence at all?" Margaret questioned, fearing that history may repeat it self now that she had assisted handing 100 criminals guns.

Clarke was about to rebut, but she was cut off by an ecstatic Jasper Jordan emerging with a large concoction in his hands. "Whoo! Yeah! Monty strikes again! Hey! Call this batch Unity Juice! Who's thirsty?" The two girls turned to each other with a smile at the boys antics. "You want a drink?" Clarke asked, eager to get her own to de-stress. Margaret definitely considered it, but only feared the worst, and shook her head. "I'll pass, me and illicit substances don't really mix well."

She was not true to her word, at all. She had somehow ended up with a cup of moonshine in her hands, chugging the liquid as soon as it was in her possession. Her new found confidence, curtesy of Monty's unity juice, had the girl buddy'ed up with Jasper and Monty most of the afternoon and evening, the two teaching her a variety of drinking games. Never had she been to a party before, and she must admit, she was having a blast.

The sun had soon set but the delinquents would not be sleeping anytime soon. Cheering could be heard non-stop, and the poor excuse of music had Margaret and her 2 new companions jumping around with their moonshine in hand, the boys claiming that 'for a complete basket case she sure knew how to party'.

Monty stumbled and tripped over his own feet, sending Jasper followed by Margaret to come tumbling down on top of the boy, the trio erupting in laughter. Margaret rolled over to her side, propping herself up on her elbows, with a smile never leaving her face. Amidst the crowd of drunken teenagers, her eyes caught Bellamy Blake observing them all and as their eyes met her smile widened, as did his, but she was soon torn from the moment by Jasper pulling her up and away to dance yet again.

Time seemed to travel much faster and Margaret went to take another sip from her cup only to find it to be empty, pouting, she announced to the boys she was off to get a refill. Stumbling over to where the large drum of moonshine sat, she caught a glimpse of bright blonde hair filling up a cup of her own.

"Well well well, if it isn't my best friend." She chuckled, sluggishly slinging her arm around Clarke, refilling her cup in the process. Clarke chuckled, downing her her moonshine in one gulp, Margaret watched on in surprise, a 'whoah' escaping her lips.

"I needed that." Clarke mumbled to herself. "How are you feeling? Not gonna pass out or puke?" Clarke asked the swaying girl, who only chuckled in response. "God blondie, you need to stop worrying for once!" She exclaimed, taking Clarke's hands in her own and leading her to a log in front of the large campfire, where the two sat.

"You know.." She started, her face moving closer to the girl's in front of her. "You are awesome." She told her with a straight face, their noses just touching one another's. "Like, I don't even know how it's even possible!"She gawked.

Clarke smiled genuinely, glad that Margaret was having fun, she stayed still looking into her friends eye's, watching her closely as she continued on. "And I think you would be a lot more awesome if you had another drink." She bit her lip mischievously, wanting nothing more than to be completely drunk and free with her friend. Her smile grew wider, as Clarke nodded with a smirk. "I could use another drink." Both girls burst out laughing, Clarke quickly standing up and heading off for a refill, leaving Margaret by the campfire.

Clarke had disappeared quite early on but that did not stop Margaret from enjoying her night, talking to people who's names she didn't even know and failing horribly at games they had taught her.

She had found herself back by the fire, getting rather drowsy. She had her head leant against Jasper Jordan's shoulder as they both stared into the fire talking about just about anything. "You know, I was totally cool with not finding you when you got speared." She told him, her eyelids starting to droop. Jasper thankkfully did not take any offence to this statement, he too far intoxicated to care, merely chuckling and hiccuping. "Well look at us now!" He exclaimed.

Their discussion was cut short when they both noticed Finn Collin's had all of a sudden stood in front of the two. They stared up at him, waiting for him to say anything.

"Hey Jasper, you mind if I grab a word with Margaret?" He asked, to which Jasper nodded, making a move to leave. "Alone." Finn continued slowly, rather annoyed. Jasper nodded his head and waved goodbye to his friend, off to find somebody else to hang out with. Margaret only watched on confused, she may not have been thinking straight but she could tell that Finn was sober and had never spoken to her before... this should be good.

The boy sat next to her, eyeing the teenagers around him looking rather paranoid. "I need you to come with me, but I can't tell you why okay?" He told her very quietly, making her lean in, hoping her ears had deceived her. "Whoah." She chuckled, patting his shoulder. "At least be a gentlemen and take me on a date first." She slurred, noticing her state Finn ran his hand over his face, struggling to think of a way to communicate with the drunk girl.

"I set up a meeting with the Grounders. They asked for you specifically."

Her face fell. Margaret prayed this was a sick joke. "Are you kidding me!" She exclaimed, making Finn shush her repeatedly trying to avoid the confused looks from the other delinquents. "No way! Are you sick in the head Finn?" She whisper yelled to the boy in front of her. Margaret didn't need to be sober to decide that the grounders absolutely terrified her and she would do her best to avoid them at all costs.

"Look, I've already spoken to Clarke and she's getting ready to leave right now, but we need you there too." The desperation in Finn's eyes was evident, but not enough to sway the Kane girl. "I hope this all works out for you man, but there's no way that's happening." The placed down her cup, and started to walk away. "Margaret-" Finn called but she was already gone.

She stumbled her way through the crowd, making her way towards the drop ship. The party was over for Margaret Kane, she couldn't even stand the thought of looking at another grounder. She was too numb to fear the grounder they had kidnapped not too long ago, but now if she were in the same mindset, she might have cried.

Laying down in the comforts of her hammock, she stared at that all to familiar roof. She didn't know for how long, it could have been hours, a delinquent would make their way to their own corner to sleep every so often. Margaret couldn't stop thinking about Clarke and Finn, they were probably walking through the woods now, potentially to their death.

She could feel herself sobering up, but not completely. The room had stopped spinning at least and her thoughts acquired far more logic than before. She weighed up her options, stay in the camp safe and await the news that Clarke and Finn had been slaughtered, or she could find them and the grounder, and try her hand a peace.

She was afraid out of her mind, she couldn't do this, what if she spoke with the grounders and it all went wrong? What if she said the wrong thing? At least she had tried....

And so, placing her feet on the ground and quietly exiting the drop ship, Margaret made her way to large gate and with one final breath, she left the camp. Her eye's drifted to the ground, and found what appeared to be bread crumbs. Were these for her? Hoping for the best, she hesitantly followed the trail.
