I made my down the long and silent hall. I made sure to check around me just in case a teacher was around. It is also risky because the offices have glass. So if anyone was there, they would see me sneaking by and I would get detention or suspended. This one time, while me and my friends were here, he saw a teacher jerking himself off. My friends recorded it but I managed to convince them that we needed to go or else we'll be in trouble.
I slightly giggled at that memory and I look for the room we saw him doing it. Down the hall a bit more, I came across it. I got out my phone, snapped a photo of the room, and continued to sneak my way through. I figured if I have the time, I could send that photo to Jamie. Surely, he'll remember. I'm not sure if he has the video or not.
There was one problem with this whole thing. I didn't know which room he was in. But from the looks of it, it looked like the storage room with all the books and old boxes everywhere. So my guesses are at the end of the hall.
While walking through, I hear footsteps ahead of me. The hall I was in now was a curve and I had to figure out a way to hide or else I'll get in trouble. Next to me was a door and the lights were off. I knew the teacher who worked here was Mrs. Addison. She is a nice person and she always work with the lights off.
I opened and closed the door and got into her chair and pretend to be her. I'm not sure how I did it but I managed to get away with it. When the person passed by, I opened the door and began to speed walk down the remainder of the hall.
I finally reached the room and I made sure no one was in it. I couldn't see Illinois inside so I'm guessing he is still trying to get past the crowd. I slowly opened the door and was greeted with piles and stacks of books and boxes.
I closed the door and gazed at everything. There were talks stacks of books and everything seemed like a little maze. Metal shelfs were everywhere with boxes on them. I blew off some dust from one and rummaged through the whole thing. Inside, I saw what appears to be some kind of language I never seen before. Either that or I'm just terrible at knowing my languages.
I put away the box and went deeper into the room. In the corner of the room, there was a little office setting which has Illinois's name on it. I looked around his desk to see many maps of different continents and there were scraps of paper with notes on them. There was a small little box that was so cute. It even had a name. But I couldn't tell because the name started to fade. All it said was 'iny ox Tim.'
After looking some more, I heard a door open. I heard noises from the students outside and poured into here. I could hear Illinois say 'Okay that's enough I hope you have a nice day.'
The door closed and I saw Illinois lean against it, giving out a sigh. I sat of his desk, looking at one of his notes in hand. I heard his footsteps against the concrete floor, coming closer. When he reached the desk, he was shocked when he saw me.
[Illinois] How... h-how....di...where?
I set down the notes and turned my head to him, leaning it against my shoulder.
[Y/N] I know my ways Illinois. I've been here 2 semesters and I have gotten to know my school very fondly.
[Illinois] H-how did you get here? There is no way you could passed through that crowd.
[Y/N] This campus is so small I could give you a tour of the whole school in under 20 minutes.I looked down on his desk and look at his notes reading them. Something caught my eye. It said the Temple of the Lost Elephant. I raised as eyebrow to what that was.
[Y/N] What's the "Temple of the Lost Elephant?"
[Illinois] Ah...um. It's nothing. He hurriedly gathered his notes and stuffed them in another bag. I stood off of his desk, hands of hips and giving him a glare to tell the truth. He didn't know what to say and I know that he knows that I know that I am still curious to what it was.
